A small vintage watch of 34-35mm, ultra thin and with Breguet numerals, a fairly uniform patina, and finally a small second sector. I love this watch for its elegance and its chic side without overdoing it. It is simple, readable but it has character, that's what seduced me. I recommend this kind of small vintage watch to everyone, it's a little treat to wear from time to time

I got this watch for my 18th birthday, at a time when I was seriously hesitating between a Tudor. After almost two years on the wrist, I can say without hesitation that I absolutely don't regret my choice. I got it in 40 mm, a size I find perfect for my 16 cm wrist: it has a real presence without ever seeming too bulky. The 49.7 mm lug-to-lug could have made me hesitate at first, but when worn, it fits perfectly. What convinced me was above all the technical specifications: grade 5 titanium case (much more scratch-resistant than grade 2), COSC chronometer certification, a comfortable 72-hour power reserve, water resistance to 100 meters, and a featherweight of only 93 g. The 12.2 mm thickness also contributes to this everyday comfort. The dial is legible and balanced, with a beautiful Super-LumiNova coating that works wonderfully in the dark. Titanium also has the significant advantage of being more discreet than steel: on the streets of Paris, I wear it without any apprehension; it remains understated yet very elegant. The more I wear it, the more I realize how perfectly balanced it is. It meets all the criteria I was looking for, with a true consistency between design, proportions, and functionality. I actually don't think I'll ever part with it, as it holds quite a symbolic value for me. It's my 18th birthday watch, and even if you might be tempted to upgrade your collection by selling certain pieces, it will remain a solid and sentimental foundation. I don't know if any of you have already sold your 18th birthday watch to expand your collection, but in my case, I find it's a piece you'll happily keep because it's so well-made. For a first real watch, I'm really delighted. At the time, I didn't have a lot of watchmaking knowledge, but even today, with a more discerning eye, I would make the same choice without hesitation.

My Longines Spirit titanium 40mm is a special watch for me. It is my engagement watch. The Longines is full of details, between the railroad including diamonds on which the second hand sits perfectly. But also, magnificent gold applied indices. As for the case, Longines alternates polymirror and brushed with the presence of well-marked chamfers. Note the presence of a large crown accentuating the aviation side of the watch. The level of finish is impeccable and rivals its competitors at this price point... Yes, I'm looking at you Tudor. I find the titanium very successful, there is no play on the titanium bracelet offering quick pumps. The watch is COSC certified and alternates at 3Hz extending the power reserve to 72 hours.

The spirit range with date window at 3 o'clock didn't appeal to me, but this 37mm version, window at 6 o'clock, with its contained dimensions caught my attention as soon as it came out. I chose this champagne sunray dial (supposedly for women) whose appearance varies from light gold to silver depending on the light. The finishes are of excellent quality, a mixture of brushed steel and polished chamfer, the engraved crown controls a COSC-certified ETA A31.L11 movement. Mounted on a very comfortable bracelet and equipped with a "quick release" system, it looks sporty but a change of bracelet transforms the watch for a sometimes heritage and sometimes dressy look. I am reducing the quality/price ratio rating following the increase of €260 in 6 months, which is totally unjustified!

Longines from the 1940s, 39mm diameter, manual movement, small seconds at 6 o'clock, thin blued hands. The dial with its Arabic numerals and discreet Longines signature is rightly marked by its time. It was at war, as they say. The simple, straight lugs were welded to the bars: I can therefore only equip it with a NATO strap. Despite a complete overhaul, the movement is tired and stops without warning. We love it like that!

This beautiful Longines Admiral (circa 1970) introduced me to vintage 3 years ago. It also allowed me to understand that for a small budget, you can treat yourself to great emotions! The detail I like; the very discreet red border around the dial, which reinforces the sporty side of this elegant and timeless little watch... I also love its 34mm monobloc Tonneau case which remains very contemporary. It is equipped with a mechanical movement with automatic winding (caliber 507) very precise for the time as evidenced by the 5 stars on the dial which indicated its certification. Speaking of the dial, it is deep black, which allows the applied indexes, stars and logo to shine brightly.

This little Longines "La Grande Classique" from the 1980s lives up to its name both well and poorly! Indeed, it's very classic, but it's not large, with its small 33 mm diameter. And it's precisely these two features that really appeal to me! Beyond that, it really takes me back in time, with its very 80s/90s look!

Here is a watch that I had my eye on for many years but for which I fell for last week after trying it on. What put me off about this watch was the fact that its diameter was less than 44mm and as I am used to watches of this diameter, I had a lot of trouble taking the plunge until I came across an ad for this watch at a very interesting price for a piece dating from January 2024 and I decided to go and try it on. As a result, I left the store conquered and I contacted the seller to tell him that I would take it from him. The watch arrived two hours ago and it was love at first sight as I find it so magnificent. Its gray sunray dial is superb and the rubber strap suits it much better than the steel strap. Anyway, a new piece that I love and that I am sharing with you here.

This is one of my vintages that I wear the most because it is so fine, endearing and luminous with its applied indexes, its logo, its solid gold crown. Its background with the gold and enamel insert and its fish that does not like water. Its slightly faded linen dial attests that it has lived well since 1961 but it works perfectly. Its date window at 12 o'clock. A brand that deserves to be even better known because there are so many rarities.

The Hydroconquest is a simple but effective diver. The ideal, in my opinion, to enter the world of watchmaking. With an affordable price, my 2020 Longines has an automatic caliber L333 with a 38-hour power reserve, sapphire crystal, water-resistant to 300M with its screwed back, a clearly legible crown, a small date, a sporty/chic look and a coat of arms of a historic brand in addition! What more could you ask for? Its dial and reflections are also magnificent, after 5 years on my wrist I am not tired of this watch, quite the contrary, I enjoy wearing it and looking at it every time I put it on.
