A watch that marks a revival of the French watchmaking industry, both in terms of design and technology, as well as sustainability and economics. This watch is powered by an Initial Caliber, the caliber designed and developed by Pequignet engineers in the early 2020s, requiring the filing of two international patents. The efficiency of bidirectional winding and the date display are at the heart of these patents, and frankly, it's a pleasure to wear innovation. The caliber offers a 65-hour power reserve (which is very pleasant when you want to change watches during the week) and is superbly precise. This same caliber was recently Viper-certified for a limited edition, which demonstrates the quality of the design. The strap is super comfortable (it doesn't pull on the hairs!), and the watch fits perfectly on the wrist. I chose the 36mm after hesitating over its 40mm sibling, but I must admit that the flatness, with less than 10mm thickness, is a reminder of why it's described as both sporty and chic. The links of the steel bracelet are reminiscent of the obelisk on the Place de la Concorde, which is a detail, but one I totally appreciated! The movement components are sourced less than 80km from the factory in Morteau, and nearly three-quarters are French! Subcontractors can then keep up with the latest innovations! This is fantastic news for our watchmaking industry. I know the Rose dial won't please everyone, but other variations are available. I was hesitant about the Champagne dial, for example. Recently, the Concorde was released in Titanium, and I had the chance to wear it on my wrist. A silver dial, a ruthenium movement that enhances its stealth, and extremely lightweight, of course! Already the owner of the Royal automatic caliber with the Péquignet Royale moon phase, I wanted to acquire the manual version of this movement but with a different dial from mine, more modern and here comes the Paris Royal aventurine limited series at the end of 2024. The magnificent sandwich case of the Paris Royale with the manual movement with 100 hours of power reserve and, the cherry on the cake, a pure blue aventurine dial. A first at Péquignet. This very limited series of 30 copies is only sold in Péquignet Boutiques or on the site. The dial is hypnotizing for a 2-hand with its constantly changing reflections, in short I love it!!

Bought for my 30th wedding anniversary in 2021, this watch never ceases to amaze me with the reflections of its dial that always change depending on the light. The moon phase has a lot to do with it and its hot-blued hands too. On the back, you can dive into this superb manufacture movement with multiple patents. The triple date with instant jump is also amazing.

In search of a French watch with a movement entirely designed and assembled in France, I could only turn to the Pequignet manufacture. So I chose the classic Pequignet Royal with a small second and a power reserve on sunray blue sub-dials! A big special mention to the beauty of the caliber that you can see in the photos. An elegant, French and very well designed watch! However, the diameter of the case is a little too big for me (42mm) and the bracelet is not really comfortable to wear even if aesthetically very beautiful. If you are looking for the most French watch in the entry-level luxury range, go for it!

I bought this watch at auction because it has 2 essential elements for me; it is French and that is so rare in fine watchmaking, and it is a manufacture movement. It pops when you look at it and it leaves no one indifferent. I discovered the brand and I do not understand why a large group does not make it a real global brand

It all started with a Duel-Time episode dedicated to the Pequignet Royale Manuelle that made me want to know more about this manufacture and this model in particular. By discovering the Pequignet manufacture and its recent history (50 years this year), I was won over by the royal movement "designed and made in France". A few weeks later, it was on my wrist. It is my first manual watch and it is a pleasure to have this contact in time with your watch. I find it very elegant, especially with its alligator-Pequignet strap. A choice that I absolutely do not regret.

A mechanical caliber with a 100-hour power reserve that is extremely well decorated? It is possible and it is French! I like this well-crafted case with its "welded" lugs, its applied indexes, its crown with the lily on it and the well-marked railroad. A very beautiful house with a slightly confusing marketing but worth a look.

This watch was a purchase of the heart, and I do not regret it! I had already heard of the Pequignet brand, but nothing more... One day I watched a Duel Time episode dedicated to the manual Royale by Pequignet... The effect was immediate, in fact it had everything I was looking for deep down! It is not in everyone's collections... It has a manufactured movement This movement is one of the rare French manufactured movements Its price remains accessible given the specifications! When I see it in real life at the AD, my conviction is strengthened, it is magnificent! Lots of little details seduce me (crown with logo, folding clasp with lily in relief) Last point that confirms my heart's desire, its diameter of 42 is perfect on the wrist (17.5 for me). What a shame for Pequignet that on its site it is so poorly presented! This watch has a relatively sober dial, but the details are perfect! The sunny gray takes on different shades depending on the viewing angle... we never get tired of looking at it. And what can we say when we turn the watch over! The caliber is exposed thanks to its sapphire opening. I'll let you make up your own mind with the photos! To conclude, I order it with the dark alligator strap, it makes it even more beautiful!
