Seiko SKX Owner Review : Friendly, adventurous and zen

In the midst of lockdown, I had to pass the time! It was during this period that I began to delve into a field: watchmaking. If I had known how much time I would spend on it afterwards, I might have thought twice... This piece is special to me because it's the first "beautiful" piece I fell for: when I say beautiful, I mean a historic brand and a mechanical/automatic model. A small personal pride: I managed to find it new in 2020 despite the fact that Seiko no longer offered it in its catalog (first purchase, I wanted it new with the days in French, everyone has their own little problems). This blue and red bezel and original jubilee bracelet are obviously reminiscent of a Rolex GMT Master 2, but what I like is that it's EXACTLY not a Rolex GMT Master 2. Discreet, diver-style, Japanese—in short, the complete opposite of the brand with the crown! In my opinion, owning a Seiko is a must-have in any collector's journey, and that's precisely what makes this brand so special.
