I have owned the Gshock GW7900 1st for over 4 years and I am VERY satisfied with it. A true bodyguard for my automatic watches, it dresses my wrist for all situations that pose a risk to our beautiful (fragile) watches. Equipped with a battery recharged by the sun, it sets the time automatically by radio frequency. It displays the moon phases, tide coefficients and of course all the other classic features of a gShock: stopwatch ... of unfailing solidity: my wrist will break before this watch! An excellent substitute for those who love watches but want to protect their mechanical timepieces from extreme situations

As I already said when talking about my G-Shock collection, I have been a fan for a very long time. I am proud of it because the "hype" has gradually increased, hence my feeling of having been one of the pioneers. In my circle (I am a street artist) the design of the G-Shock is even a source of inspiration and a daily companion. I can't imagine painting or graffiti with a Daytona. In short. The Mudmaster occupies a special place in my collection. It is not an entry-level model since it still costs a few hundred euros. But for this price it offers so much!! Only the Japanese can be so competitive. Sapphire crystal, ultra-resistant carbon case, infinite features, it's quite incredible. I owned a Breitling Chronospace for a few years which offered (much) less for (much) more money. I have now had the new Mudmaster model for a few months which is a step up from the old version that I also owned. In terms of design, the rendering is very qualitative. The perceived quality brings it closer to much more expensive analog / digital Swiss watches. It is light but takes up space on the wrist. Chick wrists abstain :) The G-Shock spirit is present: with this watch on your wrist you want to go and cut down trees with your bare hands. The only problem? The desire to go and see the range even higher ... Casio is really very strong!

A gem this G-shock DW-5900-1 with its unique retro digital style that hits the mark, this model was reissued in 2018 on the occasion of the brand's 35th anniversary. For the record, the DW-5900 was originally launched in 1990 and is also known as "3-Eyed" and "Walter" (as worn by John Goodman's character in "The Big Lebowski") I am a FAN. This was the first G-Shock with the three-eyed LCD design that would make its way onto the iconic and durable DW-6900 but not only that, in fact it was also used in space and notably on the wrist of astronauts during missions on the International Space Station and yes there is not only the SpeedMaster. I just bought it in February 2025. I find it really cool and visually fun probably thanks to its embossed dial and its nice depth... I feel like I went back 30 years to my teenage years, it makes me smile and brings back very good memories. Technically the model offers shock resistance, water resistance of 200 meters, world time (48 cities), a 1/100 second stopwatch (60 minutes in total with splitting), a countdown timer (24 hours), 5 alarms with 1 snooze alarm, an EL backlight with afterglow (1.5/3 seconds) and an estimated battery life of 5 years.
