I bought this vintage Girard-Perregaux Gyromatic at an auction. I was immediately hooked on its vintage/classy side and its intense black background. It also has a very nice dial that breaks up the intense black a little. Every detail bears witness to an era where mechanical excellence was paramount. It exudes a timeless class, perfect for asserting one's style with discretion. A watch that I will wear proudly, in homage to authentic and unalterable watchmaking.

Everything is just the weight: 100g, the materials: ceramic and grade 5 titanium, the shape, assimilated to a muscle car from the 70s, because these LEDs evoked the rear lights of these cars. A vintage chronograph with a beautiful genuine crocodile strap and a manufacture automatic movement. The price is very reasonable and the flyback function allows you to calculate distances. Its ecru white dial gives it a vintage look and goes very well with the brown of the crocodile. In 10 years I have never needed to do a service, it never delays.

This Laureato is part of the line of chic sports watches of the 70s initiated by Gérald Genta, it has a great look, and is really versatile, I wear it every day, on any occasion. For me this watch is a serious alternative to much more expensive models. I traded it for a Submariner 124060 and really don't regret it.
