I'm glad I discovered Dialicious a while ago. I've owned this Breitling Jupiter Pilot ref. A59028 for over 20 years. I have a deep love for its case shape, which truly deserves a steel bracelet. However, its genuine tone-on-tone shark leather strap is outstanding. Surprisingly, its quartz mechanism remains very accurate. I was 12 years old, and I was eyeing this model that a family friend was proudly wearing. It made me dream: chrono alarm, countdown… and then I discovered Breitling a little… I learned before having it that it was a quartz… that put me off! Plus the quartz was none other than a Miyota… in a Breitling it looks bad. This watch belonged to my father for over 30 years. It is at the origin of many of my tastes: chronograph, dial full of information, sporty... I really like the reflections of the blue dial, the "complicated" design of the dial, and the white flange which gives it a lot of depth. The patinated indexes also give a lot of charm to the watch!
