I've seen and tried on many watches with integrated straps, but I'd never found one I truly liked… until now! Then, just after buying another watch, I stumbled upon an ad for this little Zenith.

It wasn't the perfect time, but it was love at first sight, and I snapped it up without doing any research, without worrying about not being able to try it on or its condition.
It arrived, I fell in love, and since then, it's been the jewel of my fledgling collection. It arrived in impeccable condition, with its box and papers, and I was also thrilled to own a piece from such a historic brand.

A great find

I stumbled upon this watch on YouTube and was immediately impressed by its features: water-resistant to 500 meters, Swiss made, a beautifully sandblasted case, and much more, all for under €1,000. I finally gave in and was even more amazed when I received it and saw the quality of the craftsmanship.

A few years later, I bought the steel bracelet, and while it looks good with any bracelet, it's even more stunning this way. For me, it's a watch of the caliber of a Tudor: historic, robust, and technically advanced… but for a third of the price! Plus, you won't see it on everyone's wrist.

Brand new with a vintage look

A model that you end up familiar with because you come across it so often on social media. I could say the same things as everyone else: perfect size, comfortable, good value for money, understated, sporty, and chic all at once...

But what I remember is that it's one of the watches I wear the most, because it's incredibly versatile: with a T-shirt, a shirt, a swimsuit... in short, it's a watch that goes with everything and works all the time, and yet I never tire of it.

The best part is that it fits any strap, and it can add a touch of fun that might be missing on steel.

The perfect balance

An impulse purchase at first that actually became a love at first sight.
We love new watches in stores, but I really wanted to treat myself to a vintage one for the charm, the history and for a lower price.
My eye quickly fell on an Omega to have a watch from a big brand at a price that has nothing to do with today's.
So I started looking and looking... In the end, it was by chance on a Facebook group that I came across this little Geneva in very good condition and which does not look like all the other Genevas with this blue dial.

My first vintage

I discovered the brand by chance via the re-dressers and then the collaboration with Seconde Seconde on Instagram, and it was the perfect opportunity to treat myself! An affordable watch with lots of possible configurations (two straps and two bezels). That, plus the collaboration, made it the perfect fun watch for my collection.

It's not haute horlogerie (Miyota movement) or very well-finished, but it's always fun to wear from time to time with other watch fans!

A real fun watch

"They do anything other than razors?" I was told in a watch shop when I showed my wrist... Hello first impression.

I got this watch back from my grandfather who wore a Vacheron Constantin as another watch, yes I lost the draw.

I wore it little at first and then I found a shop (other than the one I originally bought) that offered to contact the brand to give them back their original strap and off we went!

Since then I have particularly cherished it for its sleek design, its heritage and its finesse.

They don't just make razors!

<p dir="ltr">The <strong>Zenith</strong> brand was created in <strong>1865</strong> by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, Switzerland. A pioneer in Swiss watchmaking in the creation of a true vertically integrated manufacture, Zenith aimed to create the most precise watch of its time at the best price. Over the years, it has established itself as a benchmark for precision and expertise in many fields.</p>
<p dir="ltr">In 1899, the marque Zenith presents its first pocket chronograph and wins various prizes, including first prize at the Paris Motor Show. In 1911 Georges Favre-Jacot handed over management of the factory to his descendants, who named it Zenith, the name of the highest point in the trajectory of a star in the sky.</p>

It was only nine years later that Zenith returned to the hands of Swiss investors who revived the brand's mechanical movements such as the El Primero.</p>

Watches with an integrated bracelet I have seen a lot, I have tried a lot but I have never found the one I like until! Well until I just bought another watch and I came across an ad for this little Zenith. So it was not the right time but it was love at first sight and I fell for it without really looking into it without being afraid of not being able to try it on without being afraid of its condition. It arrived I fell in love and since then it has been the little jewel of my young collection. Received in impeccable condition with box and paper I was also delighted to have a piece from a historic house.

Zenith Surf, New from stock, from the 90s with a 2572pc manufacture caliber. I fell for this watch at the first Lyon watch fair in Saint Germain au mont d'or at the end of October! 
A small Zenith, blue dial, very simple with a date. It was love at first sight, although it is only 34mm, but it is sublime and it is a Zenith! And this blue dial, these applied indexes, the old logo on the dial and the crown, its straight horns, I am delighted. I didn't think I would one day be able to afford a timepiece from such a prestigious manufacturer. Well I am not very objective.

The beautiful blue!

I bought this little Zenith online on a misunderstanding. Sold new from stock, it was, Zenith label on the bracelet, and protection still in place on the bottom of the case. Only problem I had not realized that I had bought a "women's" size watch (my fault!) When I realized my mistake I told myself that it was not lost to everyone. My wife enjoyed it until a necessary revision (the first of her life probably). After 40 years this is understandable. It has now left with its beautiful ETA Hi beat caliber (4hz is not bad!) A beautiful little original watch worn quite rarely by my wife but which is worth the detour. I found it a small period case as a complement and I fitted a blue UG bracelet in place of the original black Zenith.
