The must-have Macro Loupe for all watch lovers

This MAT (Sea-Air-Land) Timer OPS chronograph was given to me about fifteen years ago, and I believe it has endured everything a watch wouldn't want to endure.
It's certainly a quartz chronograph, but there are limits! The second hand is slightly offset following an impact, and the black PVD-coated steel bracelet and case are subtly (or not) scratched...

After all these years, it's still there, but I've forgotten its characteristics and history. After some quick research, I discovered that it was one of the first models produced by the MAT brand, if not the first. It has variants: RAID or simply stamped on the Timer OPS dial. This one is a "Parachutist" edition.

In theory, it is water-resistant to 200m, but nothing is written on the case or dial to this effect; the crown, however, is screwed down. I'm not sure if the crystal is sapphire because I unfortunately managed to scratch it once.

This is definitely one of the watches I'll keep for life, even if it doesn't require a case; it'll be there for all my work, hikes, and other activities.
This is the type of watch to have in your collection when you want to get started on an activity and you're worried about damaging your other watches.

In the future, I plan to do some research to learn more about these specifications and the origins of its creation by MAT.

MAT Timer OPS - For everyday combat

This Tudor is the latest addition to my collection and my first review on Dialicious. It's also my first with the GMT complication, which is more of an excuse than a real use. Initially starting with a "simple" BB 58, it caught my eye during my research with its black and red coke bezel. Although I wasn't initially attracted to the red, it's relatively dark and blends perfectly with the gold indexes and numerals on the bezel.
I was totally convinced in the store, as the photos didn't show it off enough.
It also has the following appeal: water resistance to 200m with its screw-down crown, Metas caliber.
And finally, the pleasant surprise, this brushed "oyster" style bracelet with T-fit adjustment. I look at the dial/bezel as often as the bracelet itself.
It's certainly the latest addition to my collection, but its popularity is climbing every day. Tudor has really made a big impact with this model, which I wouldn't have considered based on a simple description of its design.

I had wanted a Tudor for a few years and Monfils fils went to the antipodes on the day of the presentation of the BB58 GMT…for an enthusiast like me the excuse was too good 😂. Everything works with this watch, thinner than the old one, a perfect diameter for me and a recognized quality.

The world is vast

TUDOR releases this variant of the famous Black Bay 58 in GMT. Finally, with reasonable dimensions in 39mm, a nice evolution with its new movement :

Today it is a watch with a lot of quality and which remains at a reasonable price. (compare to the competition).

 Black Bay 58 GMT 

This new GMT from Tudor is a great success. Indeed, it is much less thick than the other models of the brand making it more harmonious. Still on the design side, vintage lovers will be seduced by perfectly balanced warm colors. Those having some reservations about the too pronounced gold side, go and discover the watch at a watchmaker, you will see that it is perfectly balanced on this point. The watch is also equipped with the T-fit bracelet which allows an adaptive adjustment according to the heat which is very appreciable. 

The only point of improvement could be the fact of adding a cyclops on the date in order to be able to facilitate the reading of the latter.
