Tudor Black Bay 58 Owner Review : Rational, relevant and consistent

Acquired in August 2020, this BB58 is the 2nd arrival in my collection! In my selection process, I wondered which watch would complement my speed ck2998 (see my review https://www.dialicious.com/omega/speedmaster_ck_2998 ) and serve as my daily watch? This tudor ticked all the boxes: small diameter (39mm), well finished, discreet, robust, water-resistant to 200m, and goes everywhere! I had asked my AD to notify me of its arrival in store and that's how I was able to discover it! In hand, I liked it even more than in the photo, the choice of black or blue was available to me, but in my collector's mind I associate the spirit of a blue dial with a chic sports watch! So I opted for the black one, in my opinion more consensual and more in the spirit of the product, which is to make Neo vintage on the basis of a previous model with a black dial. After two and a half years of use, I am very satisfied, it is the watch that I wear the most, the most versatile! I loved it on steel, but I recently put it on its black and gold Tudor Nato, which suits it perfectly! However, I find that the Nato gives it another look, more adventurous, a little less classy, but suddenly, the Nato renews this watch, and leaves the choice of the switch with the steel according to your mood! In short, this 3-hand no date diver spirit, with an old-fashioned bezel that is not ceramic, already gives it a vintage look, and approaches time with happiness: it is like good wine, with scratches and traces of life it will be even more beautiful in the future! In short, at this price, in this segment, I find it great, go for it! Finally, for those who have the idea of having a unique watch, I also find that it is ideal, because for me it concentrates a lot of qualities: class, sport, consensual and discreet with a level of finish that is hyper qualitative at this price!
