Years ago, I was looking for a pink watch for my wife. While I was searching, I came across this little SEIKO 5 Actus with its magnificent sunray salmon dial. I thought it was beautiful in the photos, but in real life, it's magnificent. It gives the impression that the pink/salmon is metallic. Very successful. Of course, I kept it for myself, but I still bought a pink watch for my wife (a Maurice Lacroix, she didn't lose out). I had the SEIKO serviced a year ago because it was running a little behind schedule. Now it's very accurate; but the service cost me more than the purchase price of the watch. This is one of the problems with "cheap" vintage watches, but personally, I don't regret doing it at all, because I love this watch.
