Rolex Datejust 36 Owner Review : Dazzling, iconic and subtle

The DJ Wimbledon in 36mm with a fluted bezel and a Jubilee bracelet was my dream watch, and after a six-month wait at an AD (my first purchase from them), it arrived in my collection a little over a year ago. I've had a hard time wearing anything else since, as its diameter, its finesse, and the Jubilee bracelet make it so comfortable to wear, and the beauty of its dial and finishes awaken something emotional in me. There were few surprises on this last point: whether it's the precision of the movement, the quality of the materials (steel and white gold for the bezel), or the finishes, everything exudes craftsmanship and high-end quality. The 36mm is perfectly suited to my 16.5cm wrist, but in reality, it fits almost everyone. I would add that it is not exactly a discreet watch, so having a contained diameter also helps to reinforce its versatility / to not have the impression of having a disco ball on your wrist, but rather of wearing an incarnation of watchmaking elegance.
