Omega Speedmaster Professional Owner Review : Beautiful, historical and comfortable

Created in 1957 by Omega, and then sent to the moon in 1669, its history reads like a novel... For me, the Omega Speedmaster is to chronographs what the Rolex Submariner is to dive watches. In my opinion, no other chronograph can match its hands 😉 Its visual appeal is formidable, something I've never seen on other chronographs. Its indices, hands, subdials, tachymeter bezel... It's easy to understand why NASA approved this watch, in addition to its robustness and precision. The hardest part for me was choosing the model (vintage, 2000s, 2015, etc.). Ultimately, I chose the Speedmaster Professional model (reference from 2021 onwards) for these reasons: - Its tachymeter bezel is identical to the 1969 model. - Its bracelet falls just after the lugs of the 42mm case, hence the importance of this detail (for smaller wrists). - Its clasp, often criticized on this model, is actually thinner than it appears in photos and perfectly matches the quick-release half-link adjustment. I chose the Hesalite version with the solid case back, which I find truly excellent. I know that transparent sapphire crystals are fashionable, but I'm really not a fan, especially for this model, and also because of its matte links (on the sapphire version, the smaller links are polished). The only slight drawback of this Speedmaster Professional is its crown, which is not easy to grip and makes winding difficult. A truly remarkable watch, incomparable...
