Omega Speedmaster Professional Owner Review : Balanced, versatile and iconic

This is my favorite watch, I'm totally biased. But after nearly 10 years on my wrist, it has never disappointed me. An icon among watchmaking icons, with a robust, high-quality movement and a superb design, it's no wonder it's so popular. It's the watch I wear most often and the one I would keep, even if I only had one. It works perfectly, has ample water resistance for everyday use, and is sufficiently robust. I enjoy wearing it at the office, in the cockpit, on the saddle, or even at rallies where I'm a timekeeper on weekends... A solid and versatile pleasure watch, with a balanced appearance... I really have nothing to complain about. Bonus: When you love the Speedmaster, you also have the Moonswatches, to have fun with more daring colors. The History of the Watch: Much has been said about the Speedmaster: it was originally designed as a motor racing chronograph (innovative compared to competition, with its external tachymeter scale), but it was in more challenging environments that it shone, going so far as to make history. The personal choice of certain American astronauts, it was eventually chosen by NASA to equip the wrists of astronauts in space and on the Moon. This model and its modern variations have become a staple in space. They have equipped and continue to equip numerous space agencies and even the private company that commercializes space travel. But the Speedmaster has been worn by many other notable figures. Its robustness made it the first watch to reach the True North Pole by land and the watch of the Solar Impulse mission.
