Certains reconnaîtront une référence à l’œuvre de Magritte dans le titre de mon avis, mais c’est aussi mon point de vue sur ce que dégage ce magnifique tonneau au design particulièrement recherché. La MM24-05 sort de l’ordinaire d’une manière incomparable. L’esthétique est unique et son édition limitée (seulement 100 pièces) ! Le chanfrein du verre saphir qui se poursuit magnifiquement sur le bracelet acier (très agréable à porter) est vraiment exceptionnel. Personnellement j’ai temporairement remplacé le bracelet métal par le bracelet cuir sur mesure Maison Morfin car je trouve que ça met encore plus en valeur la forme tonneau. Le swipe n’étant pas rapide (env 10min) car le cache pompe est commun aux deux bracelets, je ne change pas souvent entre les deux mais ça permet de donner un look différent de temps en temps. Je ne peux que conseiller cette marque dont j’ai déjà deux modèles et qui pour ma part offre une qualité de finition et un design qui sort du lot pour un prix très raisonnable au regard des spécificités et du souci du détail. En plus de cela j’ai toujours été très bien accueilli que ce soit sur Tournon sur Rhône ou à Lyon par Clément Morfin le fondateur de la marque qui est un vrai passionné d’horlogerie. N’hésitez pas à découvrir la marque si vous ne la connaissiez pas ! Cerise sur le gâteau tout le monde vous demande l’heure pour la voir :P

Some may recognize a reference to Magritte's work in the title of my review, but it also reflects my perspective on the striking presence of this magnificent tonneau-shaped watch with its particularly sophisticated design. The MM24-05 stands out in an unparalleled way. Its aesthetics are unique, and it's a limited edition (only 100 pieces)! The chamfered sapphire crystal, which flows beautifully onto the steel bracelet (very comfortable to wear), is truly exceptional. Personally, I've temporarily replaced the metal bracelet with a custom-made Maison Morfin leather strap, as I find it further accentuates the tonneau shape. Since the swipe mechanism isn't quick (around 10 minutes) because the spring bar cover is shared by both bracelets, I don't switch between them often, but it does allow for a different look from time to time. I highly recommend this brand, of which I already own two models, and which, in my opinion, offers exceptional quality of finish and design at a very reasonable price considering its features and attention to detail. In addition to that, I've always received a very warm welcome, whether in Tournon-sur-Rhône or Lyon, from Clément Morfin, the brand's founder, who is a true watch enthusiast. Don't hesitate to discover the brand if you're not already familiar with it! And the best part is, everyone asks you the time to see it! :P

I love the style of this watch, a tonneau-shaped automatic movement that isn't too wide.

The skeletonization is really well done, and the STP movement is of very high quality.

I wear this watch when I'm out and about in town, when I'm out with friends.

The box for this watch is more than complete: instructions, a magnifying glass, tools, and other goodies.
Maison Morfin is very transparent about the manufacturing of its watches.
