The most elegant watch in my collection, with its midnight blue that's hard to capture in photos.

A gift from my wife for my 50th birthday five years ago already 😭. Even though I don't wear it often, I love it.
Under magnification, you can see all the finesse and precision of this piece of jewelry; it's incredible.
It's a quartz, yes, but with two hands, so while I'm more of an automatic person, it doesn't bother me at all.
On the wrist, it's a marvel, incredibly comfortable thanks to its slim profile and the supple, high-quality bracelet (Hermès).
Its crystal is very slightly domed; everything about this watch is subtle, a true work of art.

Who doesn't know this Serica Field watch? I love it; it's perfect for any occasion—out and about, for a night out, it's so versatile.

I'd always been fascinated by it, watching videos, reviews, seeing photos, and reading opinions. Then one day, I saw it in real life on the wrist of a guy doing his shopping. Even from four meters away, I recognized the watch immediately, and it was love at first sight. I went home and ordered it right away.

I love its enamel dial with its deep black color, and the Californian style, even though I usually hate Roman numerals, but here, it's a perfect match. The Commando version is also very nice; I hesitated for a long time.
The bracelet is incredible, unique, original, and adjustable to the millimeter.
It's truly one of my favorites.

She follows me everywhere

My second of the three Longines I own. There's something about this watch that has always appealed to me, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Well, actually, I think it's its serious, perhaps even sophisticated, classy, and prestigious masculine side—something along those lines. It's the most serious of my Longines, at least that's the impression it gives me, as if I've grown up with my 55 years 😂. It's the 38mm version, which looks great with either the steel or rubber strap. I didn't get the integrated rubber strap; it was far too expensive.

I would have liked a little polish on the chamfers.
The dial is black, but it has a slightly brownish tint, which is what I also notice.

Longines forever 

A little piece of history with this reissue: a watch made for the American army stationed in 1956 on the border between South and North Korea to defend it. I love the design of the Native American chief; it's a rather original watch compared to the others in my collection. My only disappointment is the NATO strap, which I replaced because it was very uncomfortable. Otherwise, it exudes quality and robustness, and is quite light for a steel watch.

A warrior

I always wanted a Longines, falling in love with several models but never enough to take the plunge. And yet, there it was, out of the catalog, well hidden. This superb elegant watch, almost simple in appearance before getting closer to see a whole bunch of subtleties. Beautiful Alpha or Dauphine hands for some, faceted and striated indexes, the silver color of the dial very very slightly iridescent depending on the light, a very fine typography, an art deco style from the 50s that I particularly like. With its 9.9mm case on a diameter of 38.5, this pretty watch will easily slip under your best shirts. As for me, it's without a shirt, just to admire it. I forgot the case back which is not bad, with its plane among the stars. Which could characterize me with my feet on the ground and my head in the stars. The only downside, its bracelet, too coarse for me.

My Grail from Longines

I've always wanted an Ultra-Chron, but being rather hesitant about vintage watches, I never quite took the plunge. But Longines must have read my mind and released this little gem. Close to the original with today's modern features, it's my own little Rolex. I love this watch; outdoors, it catches the light from every angle, it really pops. It's comfortable on the wrist with its 37mm diameter and a very comfortable bracelet, which also has a micro-adjustment feature. What more can I say? The photos speak for themselves.

To be original, this model is elegant and I never tire of its dark brown color which is sublime when the sun is out. I particularly like the indexes which are original and translate the movement of the horse. The quality of the bracelet shows all the know-how of the house and it is a pleasure to wear it.

A galloping watch

An absolutely sumptuous watch with impeccable finishes, but the overall quality is more than desirable. The opaline dial is magnificent; unfortunately, Hermes, known for its exceptional leather goods, must have forgotten to add it to its watches. The dial is certainly very beautiful, but sweat marks easily show through. The strap loops have already changed color after a few weeks of wear...
