What a success, this Fusco (in homage to the commando riflemen)!
Incredible finishes for the price (€2,300), a precise movement (COSC), understated but incredibly harmonious colors—in short, the perfect daily watch thanks to its 37mm diameter. I find touches of Tudor BB, Longines Zulu Times, and a slight explosion spirit with its 3, 6, 9.

An incredibly bright lum, a very thin case (nicknamed the invisible) in homage to the French submarine. It has nothing to envy from the major watch manufacturers (which would surely offer it at a much higher price).

A limited edition of 170 pieces to celebrate the brand's 170th anniversary... I think it will sell out very quickly!

Auriscote pulls out all the stops with FUSCO

I was stuck on the Black Bay Pro, which I've had the opportunity to try on numerous times since its release, but I was waiting for a white dial! My wish was granted this year, 2025, and I was able to try it on at Watches and Wonders and was completely charmed! Until Auricoste released the FUSCO.
And then... bang... no more desire for an adventurous GMT, I fell IN LOVE!
The Fusco has obsessed me. I love divers, of course, but it's more than that.
It's a synthesis of the 170 years of this endearing French brand, family-owned, historic, and a long-standing partner of our French Navy.
At once sporty, understated, discreet, elegant, and ready for expeditions on land and sea. This sublime sixties look, transcended by a few modern touches, makes it a real gem.
Its 37 mm diameter is a delight to wear, as is its 11 mm thickness. The fine notching of the bezel, which is super smooth and pleasant to handle, makes it a comfortable watch, especially with the micro-adjustable clasp.
170 numbered pieces, so you shouldn't have waited long to get your hands on it.
The brightness is exceptional, as is the readability with its sword-shaped hands and "3-6-9" indexes, which I adore, as is the fact that it is doubly Chronometer and Chronofiable certified, proof of its precision and unfailing durability.
One criticism, however, is the bracelet, which features sixties-style pins on each link, which is certainly consistent with the DNA of this watch, but less practical than screws in my opinion.
A great success and a great pleasure to dive with it.

Absolute love at first sight!

To celebrate its 170th anniversary, Auricoste unveils Fusco, a 170-piece limited edition watch that pays homage to the Fusiliers Commandos and features the motto "Force & Honor" engraved on the back of each piece. Note FUS for Fusiliers and CO for Commando.
I was captivated on that sunny day at TimeFest in Bordeaux. I find its 37mm x 11mm dimensions very well proportioned.
On the wrist, it feels very discreet, thin, and light, including the steel bracelet.
Surprisingly, as someone familiar with 40mm wrists (Submariner, etc.) or 41-42mm wrists like the Seamaster, I was seduced by its presence and comfort on the wrist. It was only when I placed it next to a Seamaster Bond that I realized the difference.
I appreciate the case finish and the beautiful brushed buckle on the steel bracelet with its micro-adjustment. These vintage Neo touches, which some describe as the lume dots on the indexes, the logo on the steel bracelet's folding clasp, and the transparent caseback, are quite subtle.
