I came across this French brand Tocante which corresponds in every way to what I had in mind!

Very beautiful by its dimensions and its modernity I am delighted not to mention the reactions it arouses!
The only weak point that I find is the comfort, the horns too curved because of the different bracelets offered makes it lose comfort.
That said it is of an exceptional perceived quality for a brand with so little experience.

Here is the second piece since my passion for timepieces.
I wanted a Cartier Tank style watch and its own style but with a limited budget.
I stumbled upon this magnificent Edox Les Bémonts which perfectly matches what I wanted, that is to say:
A Tank style (shape), chic and fair dimensions with an appropriate thickness, a neat dial and with Swiss quality.
Bingo!
With this nugget we have a bracelet that suits it perfectly!
This configuration is very rare and this model in particular deserves the greatest attention for its skills in relation to its thickness.

Here is my very first automatic watch!
It is with this magnificent timepiece that my passion for watches began.
Indeed with this Baume&Mercier we cannot do otherwise so much it is fine, elegant, timeless, chic with its own visual identity without mentioning the pleasure we feel when wearing it.

My first Automatic

The brand Auricoste was created in 1854 by Emile Thomas in Paris, France. Specializing in the field of marine chronometers, the founder sold the company in 1889 to Joseph Auricoste who renamed the brand in his name. The brand is known for winning a gold medal at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1900. During its existence, it manufactured watches for the French army and navy, as well as for civilian use.
In 1966, it also designed electromechanical marine clocks and chronometers in collaboration with the Patek Philippe company for the French naval fleet. What a success, this Fusco (in homage to the commando riflemen)!
Incredible finishes for the price (€2,300), a precise movement (COSC), understated but incredibly harmonious colors—in short, the perfect daily watch thanks to its 37mm diameter. I find touches of Tudor BB, Longines Zulu Times, and a slight explosion spirit with its 3, 6, 9.

An incredibly bright lum, a very thin case (nicknamed the invisible) in homage to the French submarine. It has nothing to envy from the major watch manufacturers (which would surely offer it at a much higher price).

A limited edition of 170 pieces to celebrate the brand's 170th anniversary... I think it will sell out very quickly!

Auriscote pulls out all the stops with FUSCO

I was stuck on the Black Bay Pro, which I've had the opportunity to try on numerous times since its release, but I was waiting for a white dial! My wish was granted this year, 2025, and I was able to try it on at Watches and Wonders and was completely charmed! Until Auricoste released the FUSCO.
And then... bang... no more desire for an adventurous GMT, I fell IN LOVE!
The Fusco has obsessed me. I love divers, of course, but it's more than that.
It's a synthesis of the 170 years of this endearing French brand, family-owned, historic, and a long-standing partner of our French Navy.
At once sporty, understated, discreet, elegant, and ready for expeditions on land and sea. This sublime sixties look, transcended by a few modern touches, makes it a real gem.
Its 37 mm diameter is a delight to wear, as is its 11 mm thickness. The fine notching of the bezel, which is super smooth and pleasant to handle, makes it a comfortable watch, especially with the micro-adjustable clasp.
170 numbered pieces, so you shouldn't have waited long to get your hands on it.
The brightness is exceptional, as is the readability with its sword-shaped hands and "3-6-9" indexes, which I adore, as is the fact that it is doubly Chronometer and Chronofiable certified, proof of its precision and unfailing durability.
One criticism, however, is the bracelet, which features sixties-style pins on each link, which is certainly consistent with the DNA of this watch, but less practical than screws in my opinion.
A great success and a great pleasure to dive with it.

Absolute love at first sight!

To celebrate its 170th anniversary, Auricoste unveils Fusco, a 170-piece limited edition watch that pays homage to the Fusiliers Commandos and features the motto "Force & Honor" engraved on the back of each piece. Note FUS for Fusiliers and CO for Commando.
I was captivated on that sunny day at TimeFest in Bordeaux. I find its 37mm x 11mm dimensions very well proportioned.
On the wrist, it feels very discreet, thin, and light, including the steel bracelet.
Surprisingly, as someone familiar with 40mm wrists (Submariner, etc.) or 41-42mm wrists like the Seamaster, I was seduced by its presence and comfort on the wrist. It was only when I placed it next to a Seamaster Bond that I realized the difference.
I appreciate the case finish and the beautiful brushed buckle on the steel bracelet with its micro-adjustment. These vintage Neo touches, which some describe as the lume dots on the indexes, the logo on the steel bracelet's folding clasp, and the transparent caseback, are quite subtle.
