Unfortunately for me, the Kickstarter was closed when I discovered it online. Pre-ordered at full price (€3,600 instead of €1,750 on KS), the wait was long; it arrived in March 2024 instead of July 2023. This watch, while very successful in terms of design, has a mixed overall impression. I enjoy wearing it, for example, with a green garment. The pros: - Its look and the case design, borrowed from Gerald Genta, - Its green dial and its characteristic little waves, - Its diameter (39 mm) which sits perfectly on average wrists, - Its screw-down crown, - Its CMM20 movement, a new product from the brand, visible through a sapphire crystal case back. - Its thinness (approximately 10mm) Cons: - Paid a high price in 2023, with a feeling of being cheated (limited edition, and current prices for new YEMA releases), - Poor movement reliability at launch; it went to after-sales service a few weeks after receiving it (like many others...) for a 20-minute drift over 24 hours, - No stop-seconds function, - Very poor brand communication during the KS campaign, which resulted in a series of delivery delays, - Steel bracelet that doesn't taper towards the buckle, - A one-size-fits-all FKM bracelet (given due to the delivery delay) (therefore very long), which is therefore not suitable for small and medium-sized wrists. In summary, I only wear this otherwise beautiful watch occasionally (on a rubber strap only), because it integrates rotation with more versatile pieces. Unconsciously, the complaints mentioned above must certainly be a reflection of the lack of love this piece receives compared to the other watches in my collection. I applaud the YEMA brand for its ambition to become a manufacturer. The new calibers developed with Olivier Mory are very well designed, with a special mention for the micro-rotor of this CMM20. However, this will be my only YEMA in my box, and I'm not sure it won't be resold for another piece (for example, the Pequignet Concorde green background, to stay with the French). Greetings, enthusiasts!
