Seiko Prospex Owner Review : Adventurous, robust and friendly

During a ski trip 2 years ago, after borrowing the resort's eggs with a gentleman who was wearing a modern Rolex Submariner under big mittens that he had taken off during the ascent, I told myself that I would need a mechanical watch that I could wear for this kind of sporting occasion. Being too feverish to wear my vintage Explorr 2, or my BR03-92 (Yes, I know I'm wrong, they are made for that, but sometimes we are not rational), I went looking for a watch that could meet these specifications. While browsing the internet, I then came face to face with the reissues of the 62MAS offered by Seiko. The choice of color was then difficult between the very sober and versatile gray and this reference SPB213J1 with a white sunray dial and blue aluminum bezel. So I chose non-conformity for once, with this limited edition (6000 copies worldwide, isn't Seiko making fun of us a little?). This is also the first time I made a purchase on the Chrono24 platform, from a professional Italian seller. The transaction went perfectly. Finally, I who did not expect much from this Seiko (only that it accompanies me during my hikes and my novice dives), I surprised myself by wearing it more than most of my other watches for almost 2 years. It accompanies me perfectly to sports, when traveling, at work, and in every situation during which you have to remain discreet, without being afraid of having something on your wrist (Sad period that we live, the one that does not allow us to walk around serenely with any watch of our desires ...). Very versatile, we can completely change its face by playing with the bracelets: Nato, Rubber, Steel, everything suits it!
