Seiko 5 Sports Owner Review : Retro, versatile and harmonious

I bought this watch because I needed one for everyday wear. It meets almost all my criteria: small diameter (37mm), Hardlex crystal (easy to polish if needed), and 100-meter water resistance. My only complaint is the transparent case back, which is completely unnecessary. I hesitated for a long time between this and the Citizen Tsuyosa, but I didn't like it as much. At the time, they only had 40mm diameter cases, and I don't like integrated bracelets. I find it beautiful and very harmonious with its black dial, cream-colored hour markers, and orange seconds hand. The "automatic" designation is written in a lovely font and remains a reasonable size. The day/date window's background is the same color as the dial, which adds to the overall harmony. It's very comfortable, although a bit thick. Its retro look is a plus for me, as I prefer vintage watches. It's actually the only new watch I own, the one I can take everywhere without worry.
