Seiko 5 Sports Owner Review : Endearing, iconic and proportionate

I bought this reference on the Gnomon Watch website. After a presentation by Parlons Montre, I fell for the cream dial with its gray/black bezel. I received the watch in March. I banged my wrist on a wooden door and a scratch immediately appeared on the Hardlex crystal. I took it to my watchmaker to have this $%##< Hardlex crystal replaced with a sapphire crystal, but he couldn't find one. This model being smaller than the srpd, he couldn't find a matching sapphire crystal. Furthermore, I just noticed that there's also a chip on the bezel insert. Looking on C24, I found other watches with damaged bezel inserts. You should know that I am quite careful with my watches and accidents happen but for example I have a Turtle (Hardlex glass and aluminum bezel) ... for those who follow the Metronomia channel I took it hiking with me it rubbed against rocks and not a trace! So all that to say that I am disappointed concerning the robustness of the piece (after that it may be a stroke of bad luck) as for the aesthetics, I love this watch!! It does not leave my wrist for days and days! The lume is very effective, the color reminder of the contours of the hands with the bezel insert, it is a real little aesthetic detail which gives this piece something extra. The size fits me perfectly (but I have a small wrist) the lume ... nothing to say! We are at Seiko! So if you don't care about scratching your watches, this watch is really nice and even if there are better quality alternatives today, especially in China, I fell for the design of this piece and I don't regret it!
