After following the launch of the Awake adventure, I fell under the spell of their models all over again with the arrival of the Son Mai.

When the Son Mai Fragments were released, I didn't hesitate long before going to try them on at my authorized dealer... But the test wasn't conclusive... Until I turned my head towards this Silver Leaf Golden Hour, and it was love at first sight!

It's hard not to be captivated by this handmade dial that plays perfectly with the light... Simply put, I've never seen anything like it, pure bliss!

An absolutely INCREDIBLE dial!

After falling in love with it the moment it was released on social media, this reissue of Seiko's iconic 80s watch just wouldn't leave my mind! Without hesitation, I headed straight to the Seiko store on the day of its release to try them on with my daughter. The beauty of watchmaking? Sharing your passion? That's exactly what I did that day with my 21-month-old daughter, who chose the three colors for me (and it wasn't the one I had originally picked). A sweet little story that I'll remember every time I wear it.
Okay, so what about the watch itself, you ask? It's super fun, with a very easy-to-use rotating bezel, a bracelet with a finish that surpassed my expectations, and a secure clasp.

My first foray into the world of Rolex with this Air-King 126900.

An extremely effective model that, in my humble opinion, is far too under-seen.

I love this black lacquered dial; admittedly busy, but the touches of yellow and green make it a unique model in the Rolex catalog.
If I had to recommend Rolex for the next Air-King? Let's be bold and go for a 39mm instead of the current 40mm 😊

Resulting from a collaboration with the artist Seconde Seconde, this Q Reissue model proudly displays the colors of the Marvel hero Hulk.

I love the format of the basic Reissue and the little details added by the collaboration are very nice, especially this dot-shaped second hand.

Bought for the superhero symbol and received the day after my daughter's birth, this watch will forever remain in my collection.

Hoping that one day she will be able to wear it herself and remember all the wonderful times we have had and will continue to have together!

Here is a small Seiko reference 7009, I inherited it from my uncle who is unfortunately no longer with us, so I dedicate this review to him, he who was also a fan of Seiko just like me, and this watch will remind me of the good times spent with him, this Seiko was his first who bought it new in the 80s, automatic caliber reference 7009-876A day date with a tonneau case typical of his years, I had the case back engraved in his memory, don't worry uncle it is in good hands. Rest in peace!

My uncle's seiko

Here is my Seiko 5 - Snke01k1 - with an integrated case - 60 minute bezel - equipped with an automatic caliber 7S26 - shiny black dial - applied stick indexes as well as the 5 logo. Day date black background - 36 mm brushed case - the perfect watch for summer and in tune with the times with its integrated bracelet!

I really like this Seiko 5 with a diameter of 40mm which looks a bit like a Tudor bb…it is very comfortable, I wear it quite often…its diameter for a Seiko 5 is smaller because I have other Seiko 5 sport Milanese mesh which are 42mm, it is automatic with a power reserve of 42 hours…it also exists in black dial color and its public price is 270 euros.

Years ago, I was looking for a pink watch for my wife. While I was searching, I came across this little SEIKO 5 Actus with its magnificent sunray salmon dial. I thought it was beautiful in the photos, but in real life, it's magnificent. It gives the impression that the pink/salmon is metallic. Very successful.
Of course, I kept it for myself, but I still bought a pink watch for my wife (a Maurice Lacroix, she didn't lose out).
I had the SEIKO serviced a year ago because it was running a little behind schedule. Now it's very accurate; but the service cost me more than the purchase price of the watch. This is one of the problems with "cheap" vintage watches, but personally, I don't regret doing it at all, because I love this watch.
