La jeune marque américaine Praesidus  s'est rapidement fait un nom en rendant hommage aux montres militaires historiques. Dans ce cas il s'agit de la réinterprétation de la fameuse montre militaire type A11, connue pour son rôle crucial durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale( Bulova étant une des marques a fabriquer ses montres pour l'armée américaine). Avec cette A-11 praesidus rend  hommage à Tom Rice un vétéran parachutiste americain qui avait perdu sa montre lors du débarquement. Étant a la recherche d'une A11 je suis tombé sur ce modèle au style très vintage avec son verre bombé. Si elle existe en plus petite taille, la mienne fait 42 ce qui  me convient pour plus de visibilité. Je la trouve jolie, dépouillée avec un bon lume surtout sur les aiguilles. Le mouvement est un Seiko nh35 je pense car position fantôme. Vraiment pas déçu par cette montre accessible en prix

With this A-11, Praesidus pays tribute to Tom Rice, an American paratrooper veteran who lost his watch during the landing. While looking for an A11, I came across this model with a very vintage style and its domed glass. If it exists in smaller sizes, mine is 42, which suits me for better visibility. I find it pretty, stripped down with good lume, especially on the hands. The movement is a Seiko NH35, I think, because of the ghost position. Really not disappointed by this affordable watch.
