I bought this Omega Speedmaster Mark II (ref. 327.10.43.50.01.001) in 2023, somewhat on impulse, drawn to its retro look and strong personality. And ever since... it hasn't left my side. speed mark II

It is a 1970 Speed Mark II extracted from the archives. I bought it as is with its original dial and its bracelet, in average condition after a restoration that was not done, it is also my fault, it was completely redone. It works wonderfully. Its caliber is an 861. With the particularity of having the chrono brake in Delrin. Its bracelet is new and it is quite rare to find one. There are some left, go see on eBay.

Omega Speedmaster Mark II Racing dial

The Omega Speedmaster Mark II was launched in the late sixties with 2 dial variations: 1- Regular black Moonwatch dial and 2- Futuristic Racing dial in medium grey with red and orange accents. The Racing dial is also know as the “Exotic” dial. The case is chunky with its tonneau shape and hidden lugs, the bracelet shows a beautiful taper from 20mm down to 16mm, the tachymeter is applied underneath the mineral glass.
