Comfortable to wear, it fits perfectly into my collection of watches with a space heritage. Its dial is particularly striking: the dark blue bezel, combined with the black and white dial, creates a very harmonious whole.

Overall, it's a collector's watch that's comfortable to wear and rich in historical significance.

Its 80-hour power reserve is very welcome when switching between watches. Its Big Date is equally impressive: I wasn't a fan of this complication initially, but it has rekindled my appreciation for date displays on watches.

Omega's legendary moonwatch is not the only one to have gone to the moon. It will undoubtedly remain the first but as few know, another watch has also been on the moon.

Indeed it was on August 2, 1971, Commander David Scott was the 7th man to walk on the moon during the Apollo 15 mission. On his wrist, unlike all the other astronauts who took on this role, he wore a Bulova Moon Pilot Chronograph.

The one in my possession is obviously a modern reproduction, which can be easily found at a very affordable price unlike its big sister at Omega.

It is rather large, we are more on a 43/44 I would say. It is equipped with a nylon strap which I find does not necessarily highlight it and which makes it a little chip. Otherwise the watch itself is of very good quality.

It is part of my collection dedicated to space history and watchmaking.

The 2nd on the Moon

This magnificent watch is full of history. Indeed, during the first manned space flight on April 12, 1961, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin wore this Sturmanskie on his wrist, making it the first watch to accompany a human being in space.

Being passionate about space and watchmaking, this watch is one of the must-haves in a collection.

To talk a little more about the watch, its case is very small. I would say a 36 to be confirmed but it looks magnificent

Forever the first

This series manufactured between 1967 and 1974 has nothing to envy the new Tissot PRX type watches... Even after 50 years, this watch keeps its shape and is still in service, it is a high quality watch. After having given it a little overhaul and polishing, it is good for at least 50 years. Apart from the bracelet which has taken a little play over time, it remains perfectly wearable. This blue dial which accompanies it is magnificent, it is a navy blue in the sun and darkens with the reflections. In addition to its small size between 34 and 35 mm it is versatile and discreet.

An Omega Geneva that hasn't aged a day

It was my first at Yema, size 39 mm and I am very happy with it. Top delivery! The watch box is actually a quality storage case which is very practical when you want to travel with several watches, therefore very useful. I dealt with Yema's customer service and they were very responsive about my request and were able to react very quickly. The support was completely taken care of by them. Sending a courier to come and collect the watch, follow-up... It was great!!

Concerning the watch, what attracted me first was its design which was very pretty, the two white inserts on the dial which are of a different color and shape give it a charm. In addition, its domed glass is very pretty and brings a nice touch to the watch. What I also liked was its Meca Quartz movement that I discovered and I wanted a watch with this type of movement, because I found that it was a little out of the ordinary.

For a watch at this price (350/400 E), the quality and finishes are correct. I received it with a Milanese strap, but I never use it, I prefer the rubber strap which highlights the watch more, I find. This strap is a rather simple rubber plastic strap, nothing exceptional, but it does its job.
So it's a nice little chrono that makes an impression.

This watch has the power to draw you in every morning thanks to its shape, its versatility, and especially its tropical dial, where time has had an almost magical effect. Over 56 years, it has transformed into an anthracite gray with gold accents. It's not for those who love NOS vintage watches or for watchmaking beginners who, having experienced this, will only see flaws. But for me, a vintage enthusiast (90% vintage), it's simply a marvel.

My latest watch, this Omega reference 166.0173, is my first vintage watch (1970s), and after a few weeks on my wrist, I love it!
I don't even know where to start, there are so many things I love. Perhaps the diameter: 36 mm. It's the smallest watch in my collection, and frankly, it fits perfectly on the wrist.

Then, without a doubt, the integrated bracelet (ref. 1186/215): without it, the style of this watch would be completely different. Plus, it's very comfortable.

Another detail I love: the green sunray dial, which catches the light beautifully and, in itself, makes you want to look at it constantly.

And finally, aesthetically, the crown: I love its size, the Omega logo... It really gives the watch charm (even if it's a little complicated to use).

As for the caliber, it's equipped with an Omega 1012. For a vintage watch, I find it keeps time quite well, but the power reserve (or perhaps the automatic recharge) isn't exceptional. Perhaps it needs servicing?

I associated a personal story with this watch when I bought it, and I was a little afraid of being disappointed since it was an impulse buy online. Ultimately, I'm convinced it will never leave my collection, and that I'm going to have a great time with it!

And wouldn't it be a green Oyster Perpetual 26 (Ref: 126000) but even more beautiful? (Well, less robust, okay!)

To contemplate without ever tiring of it

I bought this little Geneva in a pretty pitiful state, after a quick visit to my watchmaker for a complete overhaul and a little bracelet polishing it came back to life. I find its blue dial super cool, it's a very pleasant watch to wear, the size is perfect for me with its 70's look with its integrated bracelet I love it and it can be worn on all occasions.
