I bought this little Geneva in a pretty pitiful state, after a quick visit to my watchmaker for a complete overhaul and a little bracelet polishing it came back to life. I find its blue dial super cool, it's a very pleasant watch to wear, the size is perfect for me with its 70's look with its integrated bracelet I love it and it can be worn on all occasions.

Reissue of Neil Armstrong's watch from the time he was a test pilot, a very vintage skin diver style look with its transformed myiota mechanical caliber, it has all the arguments to make it attractive, American brand but made in France, it sits perfectly on the wrist, in short I absolutely do not regret my choice.

My 5th gruen and surely not the last 😉 I came across it a bit by chance, on an ad after a little negotiation with the seller, I received this pretty little 3-hand watch caliber 415 rss in 34mm steel case sunray dial. It arrived in fantastic condition and I absolutely do not regret this purchase, I sent a small lizard green strap that suits it rather well. I have wanted a Russian watch in my collection for a long time and it is done with this Vostok Amphibian Scuba, bought second-hand but like new for a very small price I find that this watch has a lot of arguments like a water resistance to 20 atm an automatic caliber and a domed plexi which gives it an ultra cool look, for the moment I am very happy with it there is a chance that it will not be the last 😉

My Cold War Diver

The watch that also went to the moon 😉 the last watch I bought and honestly zero regrets !!! I was afraid because of its size of 45mm, I who am used to wearing much more contained watches, but its fairly small horns make it sit perfectly on my wrist, its high-performance Quartz caliber of + or - 10 seconds per year is absolutely incredible as is the history of this watch with its lunar anecdote 😉 a big resemblance to the Omega moon watch but which keeps its own identity with its very original pushers and its sapphire crystal which protrudes from the box. If you want a moonwatch with a very cool and accessible story, don't hesitate, it's the perfect watch 👍

This watch has the power to draw you in every morning thanks to its shape, its versatility, and especially its tropical dial, where time has had an almost magical effect. Over 56 years, it has transformed into an anthracite gray with gold accents. It's not for those who love NOS vintage watches or for watchmaking beginners who, having experienced this, will only see flaws. But for me, a vintage enthusiast (90% vintage), it's simply a marvel.

My latest watch, this Omega reference 166.0173, is my first vintage watch (1970s), and after a few weeks on my wrist, I love it!
I don't even know where to start, there are so many things I love. Perhaps the diameter: 36 mm. It's the smallest watch in my collection, and frankly, it fits perfectly on the wrist.

Then, without a doubt, the integrated bracelet (ref. 1186/215): without it, the style of this watch would be completely different. Plus, it's very comfortable.

Another detail I love: the green sunray dial, which catches the light beautifully and, in itself, makes you want to look at it constantly.

And finally, aesthetically, the crown: I love its size, the Omega logo... It really gives the watch charm (even if it's a little complicated to use).

As for the caliber, it's equipped with an Omega 1012. For a vintage watch, I find it keeps time quite well, but the power reserve (or perhaps the automatic recharge) isn't exceptional. Perhaps it needs servicing?

I associated a personal story with this watch when I bought it, and I was a little afraid of being disappointed since it was an impulse buy online. Ultimately, I'm convinced it will never leave my collection, and that I'm going to have a great time with it!

And wouldn't it be a green Oyster Perpetual 26 (Ref: 126000) but even more beautiful? (Well, less robust, okay!)

To contemplate without ever tiring of it

My first inheritance, my Omega Genève automatic with its silver dial with multiple reflections. It's 2014 and I have the opportunity to buy a Rolex Daytona in a store, I don't have the money but I start talking about watches and really get interested in them! My father brings me this Omega Genève that he has never worn or almost never. 

- "Here, you will wear it, I don't wear it and I had kept it for you". 

I put it on my wrist, tell myself that it is maybe small, strangely my colleague notices it on my wrist the next morning, nice old lady he tells me. I like the fact of wearing a classic and something other than what is fashionable, this watch will not leave me for 4 years. It is versatile, suit, wedding, for a drink, passe-partout, bohemian, in town or on vacation in Mykonos, it goes with everything and that's what I like about it. Okay, it doesn't go in the water but since I swim like a fool...
It's the beginning of everything and despite a financial offer that I can't refuse, I couldn't part with it. Vintage is the value that we want to give to the object.


My first heritage, the one that fueled my Vintage Passion

This Omega Genève "Türler" reference 166.099 gold plated, represents the first vintage watch in the collection. It features the caliber 1481 present at Omega and Tissot in the 70s, whose particularity is the rapid date change by pressing the crown, and allowing a very appreciable finesse to the watch.

How did a young man in his twenties fall for a second-hand watch from the last century, you might say?

Surely by becoming tired of always seeing the same watches on the wrists or on the networks.
Paradoxically, it is the timeless seventies look that inspires today's new releases that made it easier for me to take the plunge into vintage.

Its entirely golden appearance, especially its sunny gold dial, may seem flashy. However, the contained diameter of the 34mm case makes it just a simply solar watch.
