I searched for a long time before finding this beautiful Enicar timepiece, a mechanical watch with a date function. It's classic, beautiful but imperfect, which only adds to its charm, making it almost timeless. Its mechanism is reliable and its power reserve is very satisfactory. Enicar remains an excellent brand for those who love vintage watches, watches made for all those nostalgic for Swiss watchmaking. Enicar means "root" spelled backward. This timepiece on my wrist, and something truly special happens...

I received this watch in July 2023. I find it really very pleasant on the wrist. In the sun, the dial with its desert dune color becomes almost haunting; It is a watch that radiates when its indexes and hands perfectly restore the captured light thanks to a high-performance green luminova. Its 38 mm case is perfectly balanced on a small wrist. It is an all-terrain watch, it is robust and resistant to 300 m underwater despite its very contained thickness. This quartz watch features a Seiko system that perfectly imitates the scrolling of an automatic watch second hand. It is a beautiful, functional and pleasant watch to wear. I appreciate being able to easily change the strap thanks to the flash pump system. Bravo to Charlie PARIS who proves that there are other alternatives to buying watches that are much more expensive and much less satisfactory in terms of design quality. A neo-vintage look for this chronograph for less than €400! A very nice shop in the heart of Paris for an impulse purchase that I don't regret. A watch with a mecaquartz movement, combining mechanics and quartz, which is expanding my collection!

We are certainly not in the dimension of Rolex or Omega but rather in the desire to treat yourself at a good price for a young French brand that is constantly reinventing itself. With the Awake Concept, this is my 2nd French watch, a sign that young people are mobilizing to offer other paths in watchmaking with a more humble and above all more economical approach.

This is also my 1st chronograph... A way to test this type of watch at a lower price and I must admit that the diversity of information specified on the dial brings this Charlie to life. Its price at €375 exactly makes me say that Japanese watches like Seiko or Orient - like my Prospex Bleue - no longer have the exclusivity of nice, different and accessible watches from a price point of view. Bravo Charlie from this point of view!
