Bohen Grande Marine Owner Review : Addictive, dazzling and surprising

Here's a quick review after a few months of wearing this superb Grande Marine. It's very comfortable on its steel bracelet, and its micro-adjustability is a real plus for those, like me, whose wrists are yo-yoing in this hot weather. The two rubber straps, Black and Chocolate, included in the package are also not to be outdone. I opted for another strap made by Basylstraps and I highly recommend it; the comfort is superb. The optional left-hand crown is also a plus; I'd never dared to take the plunge, and objectively speaking, I have absolutely no regrets about this choice, especially for the comfort it provides on the upper wrist. Regarding the winding, it's better than the COSC, and having already worn two other Bohens, I'm always amazed at the fine and precise adjustment of this ChronofiableA8 standard. The 42-hour reserve is sufficient, although I would have liked a little more. Bohen's upcoming SQUARE will feature a La Joux-Perret with a 65-hour power reserve, another great opportunity to dive back in and justify a purchase to your wife 😅 What more can I say than what hasn't already been said by the community? This sunray dial plays beautifully with ambient light, giving the impression of not having the same dial every day, and the X1 grade SuperLumiNova is exceptionally effective. So YES, you can go for it with your eyes closed; with its 9.98 mm thickness, it will satisfy the vast majority of wrists, whether thin or thicker.
