Cette montre est vraiment celle qui m’a donné la passion que j’ai aujourd’hui. C’est la première fois que j’ai vraiment admiré quelque chose dans une vitrine. J’ai trouvé la forme tellement originale, en lien avec l’aéronautique qui me touche particulièrement. Le contraste du blanc sur le noir, l’aspect industriel avec son boîtier brossé et ses vis, et ses complications qui sont plutôt rares ! Une réserve de marche, et une grande date, qui sont probablement les complications les plus utiles de toute l’horlogerie. C’est assez pragmatique… Je l’ai acquise pour mes 25 ans avec les quelques économies mises de côté. C’est clair que quand je la regarde, je repense à ce moment-là et à toutes les bonnes occasions où j’ai eu plaisir à la porter. Aujourd’hui elle est un peu plus grosse que mes standards actuels avec ses 42 mm, mais c’est ma tool watch, et de loin la montre qui se fait le plus remarquer.

Today it is a little bigger than my current standards with its 42 mm, but it is my tool watch, and by far the watch that gets the most attention.
