Whitey123!'s review on his Zeroo Time

I purchased a beautiful Zerootime T7 tourbillon watch from a very trusted watch seller and YouTuber. I won’t mention his name as he has done nothing but try to help me. Zerootime are selling these watches at a premium price of over £2000. My watch lasted a few months, before the crown and stem came out, whilst I was trying to set the time. These things happen I suppose, but not on a premium watch, that is only a few months old. I’m a watch fan and have been dealing with a watch smith for over 20 years. He has serviced many watches for me. I took the T7 to him and he said that it was an easy fix, he would just need to order the parts. He contacted Zerrootime to no avail and told me that all he needed was a crown, a stem and a setting lever. 3 very cheap parts. I contacted Zerootime myself to see if they could help. At first they agreed to send the crown and stem, but couldn’t supply the setting lever. As they would need to inspect the watch themselves in able to do this. Why? I have no idea. I have my own watch smith who is more than capable of doing this. They then told me that they couldn’t supply the $3 setting lever as it is part of the whole movement!! I reached out to the YouTuber, and he said that he would speak with them and could I send him the watch. It seems that Zerootime do not make their own movements, they buy them in from China, put them in their watches and pass them off as Japan made. So they charge £2000 for a Chinese watch, that lasts a few months. The watch got sent back to Zerootime by the YouTuber after he sent them a video of it broken. They have since been in touch saying, I quote…. Upon inspection of the watch during the repair process, we found damage to the ratchet wheel and winding stem. As a result, the accuracy of the tourbillon movement has deteriorated, and the movement will need to be replaced. So setting the time on a relatively new, relatively expensive watch, has caused enough damage to the movement, to effect the accuracy of the tourbillon! They are demanding $500 for the repair. So if I pay this, and it happens again (which it probably will) then it’s just more money lost. The movements are made in Hangzhou, for many other brands!!! Japan made?? More like cheap Chinese movements, being sold as Japan made.
