Yema Superman Owner Review : Balanced, completed and accomplished

I've always wanted to buy a Yema, but several criteria were missing before I could take the plunge. Now, everything is there with this Superman Dato. Yema has become a French manufacturer with a high-quality movement created by Olivier Moris: a 70-hour power reserve, more accurate than the COSC (-1 second/day in my case), and what a beauty… When I first picked it up, I found it a little heavy, but once on the wrist, you quickly forget you're wearing it thanks to its 39.5 mm diameter and the bracelet that perfectly hugs the wrist. The legibility is perfect, with the date ideally positioned. Yes, it has a new look compared to the previous model. Purists will certainly miss it, but since I'm not one, I prefer it this way: it's more modern, and that suits me very well. The only criticism I could find is its 13.8 mm thickness, which is forgiven thanks to the new locking mechanism for the ceramic bezel, now bidirectional. The bracelet clasp has also been redesigned and now features a fine adjustment. It's water-resistant to 200 meters, has a sapphire crystal case back, grade A Luminova that lasts all night until morning, and finally, a date display—an essential feature for me. So there you have it… I highly recommend it.
