Venetian Elegance

I feel a real attraction to the Venezianico Arsenale Violette. It's not just a watch; it's a piece that captures the spirit of Venice's historic engineering (the Arsenale), while dressing it in a contemporary and sophisticated aesthetic. The desire to buy is first sparked by the boldness and elegance of its purple "Côtes de Genève" dial. This textured vertical finish is a rare and captivating detail in this price range, offering a depth and play of light that instantly sets it apart. The other highlight is its ultra-thin profile of just 8.95 mm for an automatic, made possible by the use of the Miyota 9029 movement. This slimness, combined with the integrated Canova Concept™ bracelet (with its alternating polished and satin-finished links), gives it exceptional comfort and a highly successful sporty-chic look. 🧐 A Unique Proposition Against the Competition The Arsenale Violette positions itself in the highly popular segment of sports watches with integrated bracelets, alongside major competitors, but it brings a distinctive Italian touch and refinement. It is naturally compared to the very popular Tissot PRX Powermatic 80. While the latter excels with its Swiss Made movement (the Powermatic 80) and its superior power reserve (80 hours), the Venezianico takes the lead in terms of slimness (8.95 mm versus 11.3 mm for the Tissot) and dial aesthetics. Indeed, the violet of the Arsenale is adorned with a "Côtes de Genève" finish, a level of texture and sophistication not found on the dials of comparable Tissot PRX models. Another serious rival is the Christopher Ward The Twelve. The latter is often praised for its very high-quality case finishing and superior water resistance (100m). However, the Arsenale stands out with its more classic design and historical references to Venetian naval engineering, offering a different narrative and a design that, with its notched bezel, evokes ultra-luxury timepieces (like the Parmigiani Tonda PF), often at a higher price. Ultimately, the Arsenale Violette is the choice for those seeking perfect balance: the refinement and comfort of an automatic watch combined with a bold dial that reflects a strong Italian identity. It's a favorite for a timepiece that not only looks great but also tells a story and captivates the eye with an elegance rarely seen in this category.
