HISTORICAL PROPORTIONS AND TECHNICAL PROWESS

The Black Bay 54 model is the model closest, aesthetically speaking, to the first TUDOR diver's watch, the reference 7922. Offered with a 37 mm case, it retains the general proportions of its source of inspiration while being equipped with the high-performance Manufacture Calibre MT5400 and water resistance to 200 m. A characteristic element and faithful to the aesthetics of the period, the unidirectional bezel does not have a minute graduation. However, the aesthetic details do not stop at the dimensions of the case and the bezel. The seconds hand, with its round luminous disc, evokes the appearance of the hand of the original model. The ergonomics have also evolved with a redesigned crown and bezel, but which nevertheless retain the historical spirit.

A DIVE INTO THE PAST

The spirit of Black Bay is part of the history of the brand. The Black Bay line has always highlighted iconic elements of old TUDOR diver’s watches, but the Black Bay 54 is perhaps the closest model to a specific historical piece created to date. The Oyster Prince Submariner reference 7922, one of the first modern diver’s watches, is a great source of inspiration since it is known to have been evaluated and then adopted by the French and American Navies as well as widely used by the pioneers of professional diving. The first versions of the reference 7922 featured a “small crown”, but not yet the red triangle at 12 o’clock, which would later become one of the brand’s signatures. These details gave it a refined and understated aesthetic. The Black Bay 54 is faithful to its model and takes up a large number of distinctive details. The minute hand, for example, in addition to adjusted proportions, is beveled at its base, as on the 1954 model. The second hand is as close as can be to the original. The profile of the bezel ring is also faithful to that of the reference 7922, as are the markings on its aluminum insert. The Black Bay 54 also features resolutely modern touches, such as a satin-sun dial and a “T-fit” clasp for a perfect fit and, of course, the Manufacture Caliber MT5400, a concentrate of high-performance watchmaking technology.

There are watches that go beyond their utilitarian function to become legendary. The Rolex GMT-Master II is one of them: a watch born in the sky, designed for pilots, adopted by travelers, and now reinvented in a new and elegant version, the “Bruce Wayne,” with its black and gray ceramic bezel.

Globetrotter at heart, it follows me on every trip (hence the GMT function). It's ultimately the watch I wear the most. At work, on vacation, I don't lace it up. So go for it!

The famous Tudor adventurer here with an opaline dial that is just magnificent. This new Tudor GMT with a galvanized dial is a perfect daily watch. It is both chic and sporty. The finishes are perfect with a real feeling of quality and good comfort when worn. Regardless of the opinions on its weight, the thickness of the case and its dimensions apparently not adapted for small wrists to fit into aesthetic standards: it is beautiful, practical, versatile, reliable and robust. Go try it!

Blue, white, red in the spotlight at Tudor

Not just an "affordable" GMT Master but a piece that has its own character.

A watch for adventurers on which you will want to alternate between fabric, leather, rubber straps... Everything that you can "forbid yourself" on a Rolex, you do it without an ounce of hesitation on this Tudor. Enough to rediscover your watch with each change of strap. The finishes are excellent for this price, the aluminum bezel is magnificent and offers a real alternative if, like me, you are not a fan of Rolex ceramic (a bit too flashy for my taste).

The case seems a little thick at first glance but you quickly get over it and this thickness reinforces the adventurer aspect. You have the impression of wearing an extremely robust watch that can follow you on all your adventures and that is the case! In short, a very beautiful watch that I wear with great pleasure and that has nothing to envy the others.

Tudor Black Bay GMT

This Tudor GMT is perfectly successful, very pleasant to wear with the Nato, the steel bracelet a little heavier but in keeping with the watch, a jubilee tried for the look, a very useful watch with its date, the Gmt function is perfect for traveling or remembering our trips! A must-have watch for us Tudor fans.

The Tudor GMT Pepsi is the perfect combination of style and functionality. The dial and colors are immediately eye-catching, the NATO strap is a joy, everything is carefully crafted. The GMT is great for tracking multiple time zones, and the automatic movement is super reliable. Honestly, it's a watch with character without breaking the bank like a Rolex. For me, it's the perfect choice if you want something serious without the hassle.
