I've owned this Traska Summiteer 36mm for several weeks now, and I must say I've been truly surprised by its craftsmanship. It's the kind of watch you slip on without thinking... and keep on your wrist day after day.

Non-stop for two months, that never happens to me.

Size-wise, this 36mm version is perfect (in my eyes) for my 17.5mm wrist. It's thin, light, and comfortable to wear. The crown is screw-down, making it easy to operate.

The build quality is also worth mentioning. The steel case is coated with an exclusive hardened treatment that makes it ultra-resistant to scratches (1200 vikers instead of 200 for standard 316 steel), which is rare at this price. This is what I'm looking for, tired of watches that scratch for no reason!!!!!!

It's clear after a month of non-stop use: not a single scratch, the watch remains "new"!!!!!

Regarding the domed sapphire crystal, there are pros and cons. The plus for the "vintage effect" look. The minus because with a flat crystal, it would have been even thinner.

Inside, the Miyota 9039 movement does the job very well (+8 s/d).

The steel bracelet is also a pleasant surprise: fluid, well-articulated, with a micro-adjustment clasp that allows for millimeter-level adjustment. Some say it can be a little noisy or "cheap" to use, but in my case, it holds well and has never bothered me.

For around €720 including customs and VAT, we have a watch with an inspired design—and I emphasize inspiration because it's thoughtful, robust, precise, discreet, and above all, very versatile.

I truly consider it a GADA. It's simple: I decided to sell everything except my humble family watches.

And a little personal note, a bit provocative, but it seems relevant to me.

Rolex, like many of today's great watchmaking houses, started small, with modest ambitions and artisanal expertise before becoming the iconic brand we know. At the time, they were indeed a sort of "micro-brand" in the nascent world of modern watchmaking, not a luxury behemoth.
