SYE MOT1ON Chronograph Silver Edition Owner Review : Original, bold and generous

Unboxing. The packaging is of very high quality: a black bubble envelope stamped with the SYE logo, a lovely, soft-touch box protected by a sturdy outer box featuring the brand's iconic biker. The box closes with a magnetic flap that opens to reveal a first level containing the watch, the locking plate, the screw, and the Fastback tool. The lower drawer houses the leather strap with its meticulously crafted folding clasp. This strap, at the heart of the SYE system, is sumptuous: plush, superbly executed, and luxurious in appearance. So far, it's been a rewarding experience, a truly flawless product worthy of a major watchmaker. The Watch. After attaching this magnificent strap to the case, the watch naturally finds its place on the wrist with great ease. In use, the comfort is remarkable. Beneath the sapphire crystal with its high-performance anti-reflective coating, there is much to discover and discuss. The initial impression is that you're holding a much more expensive piece than it actually is. Despite its generous proportions, the case is compact. Exquisitely crafted, it elegantly blends polished and brushed finishes. Wider at the base, and despite its 13mm thickness, the watch slips easily under a sleeve. The fusion of the case and bracelet is remarkable, with a smooth, rounded shape and a seamless transition from leather to steel. The dial is teeming with detail yet perfectly balanced; the design is a resounding success. The watch clearly plays with light, whether it's the applied and meticulously faceted hour markers or the captivating vertical brushed dial. The subdials are discreet yet present, with the 24-hour dial subtly divided into two sections, day and night. The chronograph hands, a beautiful blue, harmoniously animate the whole. This signature color choice is entirely appropriate, perfectly harmonizing with the overall design. It is subtly echoed in the "1/5 CENTRAL SECOND" text at the bottom of the dial. The entire design is framed by the tachymeter scale flange, which is tastefully slightly inclined and the same color as its surroundings. In short, I am delighted with this discovery, which has exceeded my expectations. I feel enthusiastic, at the beginning of a lasting relationship that will grow stronger with each glance and as its strap develops a patina.
