Sinn 556 Owner Review : Reliable, efficient and humble

Thoughtful purchase of this tool watch, with specs that can face everyday life without trembling. I like its readability, its contained diameter (38.5mm), the quality of its finishes, and therefore its ability to be worn in many conditions without fear for its integrity. A versatile and well-built instrument watch. I also chose the "RS" version, with its red second hand giving the whole thing an extra touch of sportiness. A design that easily accepts a nato, leather, or rubber strap to replace its original metal. So from one season to the next, and always in this "daily" spirit, you can very easily play with its personality. In terms of criticisms, I would say perhaps this very small date window, which really requires squinting to be sure of its reading. And a "luminova" not necessarily very intense or durable, unless you hold a powerful light source close to it for a long time. Finally, I would talk about the customer experience. I was able to pick up my watch directly at Sinn's headquarters in Frankfurt. A very pleasant, personalized welcome, in a showroom where the entire Sinn catalog is physically available and can be handled. I was lucky to be greeted by a person who spoke perfect French, and who did not hesitate to cover me with goodies when I left (coffee, chocolates, calendar, bound brand catalog, and bottle of white wine).
