At first it was no. Not enough quality, too fragile, too easy to scratch, plastic, etc., etc. Like many reviews on the internet going in this direction, I preferred to abstain. And then one day I went to Swatch Lille, and the passion for the Speedmaster took over! Having changed the strap, it's a real pleasure to wear it, especially in the summer. I share with you here my opinion on this Tissot chronograph. Watch enthusiasts will tell me here that there is nothing very interesting, it is an entry-level watch with a Quartz movement so nothing very exotic so far, but it is in the simplicity that lies the interest of this chronograph, and what makes it for me a perfect daily. The interest of this model is especially for me the steel bracelet which is of very good quality, the black frame gives a rather classy side and the watch has a certain character, moreover the Tissot manufacture has a very important heritage and this is what I particularly like when I see this name at the top of the dial, in short this watch always has a particular effect on me when I put it on my wrist and yet no incredible movement no handmade finish but it is a Swiss watch which for me totally fulfills its role

A must have in your collection!, for me Seiko 5, has a particular imprint in the world of Japanese watchmaking, the 4r36 movement is quite qualitative for the price, I particularly love the transparent case back which lets you see this pretty movement, the midnight blue frame and the indexes shine in the light, which makes this watch an ideal partner to accompany your daily life whether at the gym or in casual wear, it is always a pleasure to have an entry-level Seiko in your collection

Here is a small Seiko reference 7009, I inherited it from my uncle who is unfortunately no longer with us, so I dedicate this review to him, he who was also a fan of Seiko just like me, and this watch will remind me of the good times spent with him, this Seiko was his first who bought it new in the 80s, automatic caliber reference 7009-876A day date with a tonneau case typical of his years, I had the case back engraved in his memory, don't worry uncle it is in good hands. Rest in peace!

My uncle's seiko

Here is my Seiko 5 - Snke01k1 - with an integrated case - 60 minute bezel - equipped with an automatic caliber 7S26 - shiny black dial - applied stick indexes as well as the 5 logo. Day date black background - 36 mm brushed case - the perfect watch for summer and in tune with the times with its integrated bracelet!

I really like this Seiko 5 with a diameter of 40mm which looks a bit like a Tudor bb…it is very comfortable, I wear it quite often…its diameter for a Seiko 5 is smaller because I have other Seiko 5 sport Milanese mesh which are 42mm, it is automatic with a power reserve of 42 hours…it also exists in black dial color and its public price is 270 euros.

Years ago, I was looking for a pink watch for my wife. While I was searching, I came across this little SEIKO 5 Actus with its magnificent sunray salmon dial. I thought it was beautiful in the photos, but in real life, it's magnificent. It gives the impression that the pink/salmon is metallic. Very successful.
Of course, I kept it for myself, but I still bought a pink watch for my wife (a Maurice Lacroix, she didn't lose out).
I had the SEIKO serviced a year ago because it was running a little behind schedule. Now it's very accurate; but the service cost me more than the purchase price of the watch. This is one of the problems with "cheap" vintage watches, but personally, I don't regret doing it at all, because I love this watch.
