Saner Heart in Light Black Owner Review : Beautiful, bold and precise

On paper, this watch wasn't necessarily destined to end up in a collection, given its no-date and open-heart design. However, I had the opportunity to try it on with the brand's creator, and after a long discussion, I didn't want to give it back...😅 Once on the wrist, the watch is comfortable, the strap is high-quality, and the balance wheel is hypnotic... You should know that this isn't just a simple open-heart movement; the movement is a Soprod Newton BV. It was designed to have a raised balance wheel and bridge, which gives the impression that it's trying to emerge from beneath the dial. The cushion-shaped case is well-proportioned and sits comfortably on the wrist. The crown at 6 o'clock is a good size with a comfortable grip, and thanks to the hinged end piece, it allows the watch to be handled on the wrist. The alternating polished chamfers and brushed finishes on the rest of the case give it character, and the finishing touch is the red crystal gasket, which, along with the second hand and stitching, gives the piece a sporty look. The black sunray dial with applied hour markers is stunning, and the raised bezel adds even more depth to the dial. The hands and bezel are generously coated with BGW9 Luminova, making the nighttime display a stunning one. The movement is COSC-certified, which affirms the piece's commitment to precision. However, what I can tell you is that in terms of accuracy, this Saner could compete with more than the COSC, as after several weeks on the wrist, I've noticed an average deviation of barely one second per day. The design of this piece is a bit divisive, and it's not a watch that will appeal to everyone, certainly not for those looking for a well-known brand to show off. However, this piece is packed with quality and will be perfect for those looking for authenticity, a piece you don't see everywhere, and a brand where you can call the designer, meet him in the workshop, and try on the watches over coffee, discuss the design, choose the number of your piece, and realize two hours later that... we've already been talking for two hours. A brand on a human scale, with a beautiful history, three generations of watchmakers passionate about their craft and striving to offer their customers a unique experience while manufacturing quality products.
