Radial Atmaus Owner Review : Adventurous, functional and light

The very first creation from the Radial brand, this watch was born after a Kickstarter I participated in because I liked the project: an aviator-style tool, water-resistant to 20 ATM, with a Sellita movement, and all at a reasonable price! Received about two weeks ago, this watch is intended to be shared with my wife (my second wife!!). With its 39 mm diameter, its thin 11.7 mm thickness, and above all, a lug-to-lug width of only 46 mm, it fits my wife perfectly on a 15 cm wrist ;) It fulfills its role as a tool, almost too light for me, as I'm used to feeling my watches, but ideal for my wife. The lum applied to the hour/minute hands and the index at 12 o'clock is very effective; it's the watch that shines the brightest in my small collection! The strap is the same green as the dial, so it's in good taste ;) I noticed an average drift of +13 seconds/day on my model. The negative point for me, if there is one, is that it doesn't evoke any emotion. This is very subjective. I have no complaints about it, but when I wear it, it doesn't evoke anything for me. Maybe I'm unintentionally comparing it to my usual daily tool, my Sinn 856... It's not very fair on paper, but that's how it is. My wife, on the other hand, loves it. We tried it on her steel one but immediately put the rubber one back on, which shows it off much more on this iteration. Another negative point is that the screw-down crown is difficult to screw back in, especially after setting the time, for example.
