Pequignet Concorde Titane 36mm Owner Review : Stealthy, surprising and exclusive

From its release in 2023, I was drawn to the Concorde. I was captivated by its design, especially the bracelet. When I tried it on in the store, I found the 40mm slightly too large for my 17cm wrist, and I felt no connection to the dials; the date display bothered me! Meanwhile, I found the 36mm too small. It was discovering the titanium model at We Love Watches that won me over again, despite still having serious doubts about the 36mm size! After considering all the watches that had been on my mind since the show, the titanium Concorde was the only one that remained firmly in my thoughts! In the end, it was thanks to my friend Manuel, during our discussions about watches we both liked, that he found the right arguments to convince me, and I don't regret it at all 😊 (I'm so easily influenced, thanks Manuel!) Today, I've had it for almost two months and I wear it practically every day. I'm captivated by the titanium, its incredible weight; you truly forget you're wearing it. The dial's reflections change depending on the light, and sometimes there are surprising shades of blue 🩵 Be aware, the titanium can also appear very dark at times, but that doesn't bother me; it's ultimately discreet, almost stealthy. I find the oscillating weight and the movement beautifully decorated, visible thanks to the open case back. A small point or suggestion for improvement, but this is just my personal opinion: a quick-set system, a thinner one that adjusts to the wrist, which tends to swell! (No tools required) The deployant clasp has a slight ripple on the clasp side; I think it's due to the shape of the clasp! And finally, to be fully satisfied with the replacement straps, perhaps some different colors would be welcome, especially since the watch is equipped with a quick, tool-free strap change system. And why not a 38mm strap to appeal to even more people? 😌
