I present to you my Seiko 5 sport FIFTY FIVE FATHOMS...which I find goes everywhere with the look of a diver, the robustness of a sportswoman, the Seiko SNZH55K1 also known by its nickname of "Fifty Five Fathoms" for the homage to the Blancpain timepiece, is a versatile piece that can be worn on multiple occasions...Belonging to the "Best Sellers" category of the "Five" subsidiary of Seiko, the SNZH55K1 has a unidirectional bezel matching the Black & White dial of the watch.
As for the hands and indexes, they are treated with Lumibrite, a non-radioactive and luminescent component, making the time readable in all circumstances. On the back, there is a transparent caseback, allowing the wearer of the timepiece to observe the caliber 7S36B in action.
The Seiko manufacture movement is equipped with 23 jewels, benefiting from 40 hours of power reserve.

I present to you my Seiko 5 Sports SRPD61K1 that I have had for a few years but that I do not wear often ... while this watch from the Japanese brand is pleasant and easy to wear and not too heavy, I still always have great pleasure in putting it on my wrist, the green of the dial changes color depending on the light which is a beautiful effect, Seiko fans tend to call it the Seiko 5 Hulk ... the dial glass is in Hardlex (reinforced mineral) it has an ATM of 10 and a diameter of 42.5mm.

I present to you my Orient Mako 2 automatic that I like a lot, it is very comfortable to wear, Orient is a Japanese brand that is a cousin of Seiko, this Orient is blue but it is also available in black or pepsi... the blue dial is magnificent and in the sun it changes color with variations of the most beautiful effect, it is a diving watch with a screw-down crown and an F6922 movement... its diameter is 41.5mm with a thickness of 13mm and a lug width of 22mm... the watch has a power reserve of 40 hours, however the glass is mineral. its price is 280 euros.

In Orient Mako 2 

This is my first mechanical watch. It's the first piece I bought for myself after contracting the watchmaking bug.

Before you wonder, it's a reliable watch despite its very low cost. It's the watch I wear the most; it accompanies me daily to my work. It never lets me down.

The choice of colors is not insignificant, beyond an affinity with orange and blue. Besides, when you're diving, orange is one of, if not THE, colors that is most noticeable underwater. Now, I don't dive.

It's a robust, reliable watch that exudes presence on the wrist and will make an impression on laypeople. I've even recommended it to a few friends who were completely unfamiliar with watchmaking and who subsequently took the plunge and purchased an Orient.

The presence of a day window on the dial is a mistake in my opinion. A date window alone would have been sufficient in my opinion.

Finally, the sunburst dial is a truly pleasant surprise. Depending on the lighting, you can see up to three different shades of blue, which for a watch in this range is quite impressive.
