Omega Seamaster Owner Review : Retro, pleasant and elegant

Purchased when I was first starting out in watchmaking, this watch strikes the perfect balance between class and ease of use. Equipped with an automatic movement and a 34 mm diameter, it's the watch that will complement any occasion. For me, it was primarily an impulse purchase; I'd been looking for a vintage Omega with a gold case and a white dial for a long time. Furthermore, unlike other Seamasters, its dial features Gérald Genta's famous pie pan design and curves at the ends, which adds depth and easily catches the eye. What makes it so charming is the contrast between the gold and the white dial, which really makes it stand out on your wrist, even though it's a 34 mm watch. The only drawback I find is the lack of a quick-set date function, but with use and alternation with other watches, you get used to it. As for the price, because I know that's what you're all interested in ;) I was able to get mine entirely original by searching on second-hand resale sites for 300 euros. However, it remains difficult to find in this condition for such a price. It's truly a watch I recommend and undoubtedly one of the ones I enjoy wearing the most in my collection. Its movement and finishes combine the robustness and reliability of Omega and give the impression of being able to run for another 100 years.
