Here's my little Omega DeVille, with a TV case in the purest 70s style that I love. A simple and efficient manual movement, a perfect 35mm case, and gold plating that makes this watch the perfect companion to dressy outfits, without breaking the bank!

I've finally settled on the Op 36 after a few years of ignoring the brand. I've recently returned to it, not through the back door (many consider the Op a basic entry-level model), but through the mother of all Rolexes! Oyster case, automatic winding...what else?!
Its black dial, 36mm case, and Oyster bracelet make it the perfect everyday watch! So much so that it eclipses all others when you need something simple, versatile, and understated.

That's exactly the image I like to have of the Op: a solid and timeless watch.



Oyster Perpetual: The Quintessence of Rolex

I bought this Speedtimer brand new when it was released at Christmas 2023. JavaScript already owns a Speedtimer, also a limited edition (Crystal Trophy). Everything about this watch is perfect! Size, subdials, color palette...it goes with everything, on steel, leather, NATO strap; it suits it all!
This is the watch I recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful chronograph for under €1000. I wear it very often. I've owned several chronographs: Breitling, Speedmaster, etc., but I haven't yet found a chronograph this nice in this price range...a real success!

My favorite stopwatch!

I bought this Bulova the day I first appeared on the Dialicious channel. It's a vintage model from 1973, the year I was born. The Accutron Spaceview has existed since 1960, but TV sets like this one date from the 70s. A marvel of technology for its time, before the arrival of quartz. It's a tuning fork movement that hums when you hold the watch near your ear... personally, I find it soothing 🤣
I love the historical aspect of the Accutron, and its unique exposed movement!

My conversation watch!

It was the 2004 release that made me dream. At a time when Panerai was the benchmark, Cartier made a bold statement with the Santos 100, a more robust Santos designed to appeal to contemporary tastes. It retains the classic Santos design elements while offering modern durability and specifications. My model is reference 2878, the smallest size (35mm), which suits me perfectly. It has presence, style, and timeless class!

This 2015 model in 39mm is timeless! It flirts with the great complication: small seconds, day, date, month, moon phase, on a super balanced sunray gray dial, applied and polished indexes...class! The open case back allows you to appreciate a magnificent movement that takes the size of the case well. A watch to keep for life, which can still be found at prices well below the equivalents of other manufacturers 👍

The best of German watchmaking at affordable prices, Nomos is a brand for enthusiasts! The 37mm Club Sport is perfect for all types of wrists. The 100% in-house movement is magnificent and at only 3.2mm, it's a feat for an automatic. The green sunray dial called "petrol" changes from mint to olive, it's superb!

This little Nomos has just arrived in my collection. The finishes are really well executed, this green dial called petrol is a success. What can I say about the finesse of this piece, only 8.3cm. 
Nomos is really a brand apart that combines the quality price ratio in a beautiful way. 
Remains to live with

Attention nugget

My little Nomos, sporty and elegant, I love this watch. Its slim profile makes it suitable for dress, while its 200-meter water resistance allows it to be almost rugged. It's very comfortable to wear. The only slight drawback is that the lug-to-lug distance is rather long when wearing it with a bracelet. With the steel bracelet, there's no problem in this regard. The finishing is superb.

Sport chic

In my manufacture collection, I wanted to get away from black. That's how I chose the Club Sport Neomatik Polar. It's my first blue watch that nods to the datejust. This German watch is 37mm in terms of dial and has an Oyster-type bracelet and a sunray dial. In the sun, you can see all the shades of blue. It's thin and light. I find it more dressy than sporty. The luminescence is blue like the datejust. It's a watch that fits well into my collection. It's refined and attractive. We have here a 95% original manufacture movement from Glashütte. The only downside is its clasp that quickly shows scratches. But for its price I'm not going to complain. I highly recommend it for those who want to start in watchmaking.

German quality

This Nomos, even if it has a contained diameter, displays a beautiful presence on the wrist. This watch is a real eye catcher, the blue sunray dial and the mirror polished finish of the case and bracelet are undoubtedly something to do with it. The movement, visible on the back of the case, is superbly finished, especially considering the price of the watch. The only debatable point of this watch is the bracelet which seems light and the mirror polished finish buckle which is a great scratch catcher.

A watch with character!

A sunburst dial in such a unique and perfect color, incredible finesse for an automatic watch, a super comfortable strap, and a beautifully decorated manufacture movement. These are the assets that made me switch to Nomos for this Club Sport.
And when you add in the 20 bar water resistance and its reasonable price, what could be better?
If you want an "alternative" to a green OP, then don't think twice. Here it is.
I bought this watch a few months ago and I can't get enough of it.
It's incredibly robust and elegant. It's very rare to find such a versatile watch with exceptional finishes in this price range.
