Nezumi is a Swedish brand that produces well-finished watches with French names like Voiture (Car), Terrain (Terrain), Corbeau (Raven), and Baleine (Whale). The Baleine is a diver's watch (of course). It's water-resistant to 200 meters and features a screw-down crown. It's powered by a Miyota 9039 caliber, a robust movement and one of the Japanese manufacturer's top performers. Its brushed steel case is scratch-resistant. Several colors are available; mine is blue with a blue bezel. The hands have a subtle gold tint. The bezel rotates smoothly and doesn't slip on the clicks. I like its balance between a "tool" and a "diver" watch, and yet it can still be worn every day. It goes well with just about anything and everywhere. I've put it on a leather strap (it originally came with a white rubber strap). What I also like is the case back embossed with the brand name. The price is competitive and this watch (and others from the brand, I'll tell you about my "Car" later) deserves to be better known.
