This model belongs to Montblanc's Heritage line, a family of watches that pays homage to classic mid-20th-century designs. The 40mm steel case is, in my opinion, perfectly sized for a modern dress watch. It's neither too big nor too small. Its thickness gives it a balanced look on the wrist, neither too flat nor too imposing, and its domed sapphire crystal adds depth and clarity to the dial. I had the opportunity to acquire this MB Héritage Chronométrie Dual Time, during a private sale. It ticked a lot of boxes on what I was looking for at the time: a GMT complication in a dress watch which was a change from the sporty GMT. Not being a very big traveler, this watch has a particularity: the 2 hour hands are the same except for the blue color of the second time zone. Looking for a Perpetual Calendar watch for my collection, I was quickly put off by the price of such a complication.
