😍 DESIGN Tastes are obviously subjective, but I find the overall design absolutely magnificent. Understated and elegant, yet it conveys a sense of robustness. It has a touch of the 1950s that I love. The GMT hand is discreet, but it adds a subtle presence. The advertised color is "silver," but it's actually a "champagne" dial with a lovely sunburst effect. The dial color is quite dynamic: it appears sometimes silver, sometimes champagne. The hour markers are applied and polished for enhanced shine. The date is displayed at 3 o'clock in a rather original shape (inspired by the Universal Genève Polerouter?) which reinforces the 1950s feel. The whole thing is very harmonious and balanced. It's also very versatile. I think it strikes a great balance between a dress watch and a sporty watch. It looks just as good with jeans and a T-shirt as it does with a suit. 🕙 DIMENSIONS This is a fairly compact watch: 36 mm in diameter (37 mm with the bezel), 11.1 mm thick (including the crystal, which is excellent for a GMT), and 44 mm lug width. The only drawback, in terms of dimensions, is the 19 mm lug width, which, while not ideal, is a sensible aesthetic choice. ⚙ SPECIFICATIONS Despite this design-focused approach, the specifications are excellent: - Water resistance to 20 ATM - Sapphire crystal - Instant micro-adjustment - Screw-down crown - Swiss movement (Soprod C125 – GMT) regulated to +/- 4 seconds. ➰ STRAP AND BAND The metal bracelet is a real success. Extremely comfortable thanks to the small links between the "grain of rice" and the Jubilee. Easy to put on and adjust with the 5-position quick-release clasp. The "click" of the clasp is very reassuring, and the discreet decoration adds an extra touch of elegance. I usually wear my watches on leather straps, but this one is far too beautiful and comfortable to pass up. I also really like their leather strap, handmade in Rome, and it's of good quality. A nice little detail: it comes with a pair of curved spring bars for optimal strap adjustment. ❗A FEW DRAWBACKS If you're a fan of luminescence, this watch isn't for you. Although there's a small luminous dot on each index and Super-LumiNova on the hands, they're rather subtle. The crown is quite small, and since the bezel protrudes slightly from the case, it's not the most practical to use. Furthermore, the edges of the (fixed) bezel are very sharp; be careful with your fingers when adjusting it! Finally, readability isn't optimal in certain positions or lighting conditions. Otherwise, it's quite fantastic!
