If today, many collectors start with SEIKO, a few decades ago, KELTON was a completely justified choice. A very popular brand in the 60s/70s, it democratized the affordable and reliable watch. KELTONs are not technical marvels (I'm talking about mechanical watches), but the vast majority of those I've had in my hands are still working after 30, 40, 50 years of good and loyal service. And most of the time, without having had a maintenance interview. Here is a copy from the 60s that has lived well, but which still keeps time very well. Nice look and reliability: that's all I ask of a KELTON!
