The Forgotten Wonder

This purchase wasn't planned at all. This manufacturer was a dream of mine, but its pricing "positioning" never made me consider purchasing one of its models. For me, Jaquet Droz was above all the "8," which marked the brand's identity, and which, oddly enough, for a manufacturer founded in 1738 and specializing in automatons and artistic crafts, conveyed a certain modernity. This watch is rarely seen and even less described. As a fan of this model, I am absolutely not objective, it is criticized for the poor readability of the time but what do I care about the remarks, I feel unique when I wear it. The work of both the case and the bracelet remains exceptional. I hope to find another owner of this "jewel" here.
