Hamilton Khaki Field Owner Review : Adventurous, fine and endearing

Its dual 12-24H scale was the first thing that attracted me to this model. Then I fell in love with the white dial, whose vanilla hour markers complement each other well and add a warm touch. I like its dial, well-balanced, without any unnecessary frills, and its rounded numerals. The sandblasted finish of the case is high-quality and pleasing to the eye. The sapphire crystal is very slightly domed. The lack of anti-reflective coating is partly offset by the contrast of the black outline of the three hands against the white dial. As for the movement, the power reserve of over 3 days is particularly appreciable on a hand-wound watch. Its winding is smooth, pleasant to listen to, and the crown is well-sized. Its precision is satisfactory: I measured an average deviation of +6 seconds per day. Finally, thanks to its relatively long lugs, its 38mm diameter doesn't feel too small on my 18cm wrist. * The strap in the photos is a light brown elastic from ABP Concept.
