Grebe, a small Chilean brand, offers captivating handcrafted copper dials. Some parts are engraved, revealing oxidized pieces, creating an original blend of colors. This model, Matriz, reminds me of a map, the maze of streets of an unknown city. It also contains a little joke, because the brand logo, a discreet g, is elegantly placed at 3 o'clock, so much so that one would say, without knowing the watch, that it is a 9, placed at 3 o'clock and as there are no numbers on this artistic dial... could it be a sinister movement? Well no, because it is not a 9 but a g. The stainless steel case is 38mm in diameter and comes with a fairly high-quality 18mm wide leather strap. It is a watch without great pretensions but with a particularly successful and original dial that makes you dream when you contemplate it.
